Only way I know of getting a replacement mat is by contacting Meowant and purchasing a new drum for the litter box. Seems to be the most common issue with these automatic litter boxes (all of them really) that the rubber mat inside the drum isn't replaceable and requires the purchase of a whole new drum, which is a big waste!

The mesh screen that comes installed with the litter box dangles and moves as the drum rotates. It is not fixed into place inside the box. The mesh screens that I sell clip onto the existing litter box filter screen to help increase the filtering of the clumps in the box

Press the lock button and pause button for 3 seconds and it will unlock. It will lock again after about 3 minutes of no use.

I absolutely love mine! I bought mine off Wayfair and I just absolutely love it so much that I also bought a second one. It works great! It’s easy and fast to set up. I don’t bother using the Wi-Fi part just because I have no interest in that. It’s a wonderful product. For anybody who sees my comment stay away from ELS pet litterbox it is a POS! Many cats have died as a result of what an awful product it is.

I don't have a view of a dissasembly of the unit but if the box is stuck upside down because its either blocked at the bottom from clumps or other items that may have gotten inbetween the waste bin opening and the drum, there should be a reset button on the back where the power cord is that is supposed to force the machine to return it back to its original position. I'd like to believe you should still be able to remove the drum, even upside down, because it sits into the base without any other locking devices over the small rods. I'll have to see if I can catch it cleaning mid cycle and try to remove it.

​@@dynamitedesignlab I did find a reset. It looks more like a hole instead of a button. Any idea what I should use?

@@kathyjones7533I would recommend either a paper clip that has one of the legs bent outwards so you can press the small button inside the hole or even a push pin should work as long as you don’t press too hard on it!

Yes! 3D printed out of PLA+. I usually upload my files for private purchasing on Cults3D.com but I don't think I have these up there yet. I'll try to get them posted there for those who would like to print it themselves versus purchasing through my website dynamitedesignlab.com.

​@dynamitedesignlab you should sell these. I have just cleaned my furoomate for the first time, and there is a definite need for them.

I personally have not tried to see if the guard can fit on the upper side of the entrance to help prevent falling litter during a rotation of the box. I'll try to see if I can test it out.

@@tomng1719 I use PLA+ for all my products as it provides the best flexibility and strength for the parts. You could also use PETG but I haven’t tried it out personally to see if there are any additional benefits to PETG over PLA+.

I personally don’t review the actual boxes, but there is a channel on RUclips called One Man Five Cats who does extensive reviews on nearly every automatic litter box and can help point out the pros and cons of each box. I believe he is coming out with his review video on the SC02 soon too!

I have been using litter robot for five years and I have started out with 10 but in the five years two of them quit working and I just didn’t have it in me to try to fix them. It’s very complicated to take apart with all the screws and the little pieces here and there and I just did not want to deal with it so I tried several other others and the best one. Is this meow want! It is fabulous! It takes two seconds to set it up and it’s easy and fast and the cats love it. I do not use the Wi-Fi just because I don’t need to, but I can’t say enough good things about this product. I purchased mine off of Wayfair and it’s just great. Stay away from ELS pet litter box because it’s a POS and I’m sure once you read the reviews you’ll see it’s nothing more than a scam for that company to try to make fast money. I did order it and the reviews were so bad and the customer service was so bad that when I got mine, I didn’t even bother because it was dented and a piece was broken. I literally just threw it in the trash. It’s like the trashiest worst product ever made. Hopefully the Better Business Bureau will shut them down.
