It would be great to talk about Wind loads on Eurocode
Please give information on how to provide earthquake load. means how to generate load case
very useful
Oh ya ya ya ya 😂, that's what someone who's passionate and loves what he does would say. That's a looooooot.
Let me ask you, what about using rigid links to connect the columns to the slab? I believe the floor nodes that correspond to that of the column contour should be linked (by rigid links) with the top column node. At least this is what I see people in the Robot forum doing due to FEM limitations of Robot in the consideration of "drilling moments".
Which software are used in video
Hello CEE, why contact surface can result > 1.0?
Thanks cee. principles were well explained
When I applied the barrier loads, the second span loads were flipped in the opposite direction. How do i fix this?
Professor, thank you very much for excellent videos. Please allow me to raise a question which is: why do we use the strain vector without epsilon_z? I mean during derivation, we did not define whether it's plane stress or plane strain problem. Or does it mean we ignore epsilon_z because we are talking about 2D plane elements?
Thanks for your great contributions, please how did you find the rotation angle of the lower tower legs to be 225 degrees.
Nice ty
Dear Dr. CEE: This is an excellent initiative and splendid effort. Hats off to you for providing such valuable insights. One query, is it possible to please share these PPT slides? Thank you very much
can I ask why would we reduce the moment of inertia in the first place? is it some kind of security coefficient?
This is an amazing series. Where is part 10?
Good jod! Thank you for your vids and your In-depth interpretation, it helps a lot!
Sir design software videos?
Wow!! ❤
Thank you so much, I will follow this book and watch all the videos in this series, and I hope you will release more videos, they really help me! Liked! Subscribed!
How to analyse concrete gravity dam in AutoCAD robot structural analysis
it has been along time you have not uploaded RSA videos
There is a difference in the final calculations because the building exponent Ct from the Table 12.8.2 was 0.0466 and what was used in your calculations was 0.0446. I ran the calculations in excel and then simulated it in RSA and got the same output as the software in your video.
i love the way you teach and enjoy your work. thanks again for all of it.

what happened to RSA tutorials
The series was great. You’re doing a good job 👏🏾. Quick question, Was there meant to be another video after this? Where you’d explain how to transfer results?
really helpfull. thanks
Hello, is there a way to contact you for assistance/consultancy services?
Yes, I am. You can email me on civ.eng.essentials@gmail.com
Hello CEE, how do i model a tappered beam in Robot with a flat top.
Dear CEE, Is it anyway for the slab distribute load to the sub beam incase the main Beam have long spans and we want to reduce the slab thickness and deflection by through the sub beam in the middle to help it. I'm try many time but I didn't get negative moment in sub beam zone, always get positive. Can you help please? 🙏🙏🙏
How the body force will add in the formulation of Plane Elasticity
Hello my thesis project is on CFD simulation so can I perform my project in this RSA .. as ansys is hard for me😢 please help me.. my project is analysis of high rise building with opening in it for wind loads using Numerical simulation (CFD simulation) please help me
Thank you very match..... I want check for sliding by robot pleas my friend explain it or tell me if that any video on youtube explai it.......
Thank you its awonderful but I want to ask about check for sliding and I hope you answer me .....once again thank you very much
I hope you get back to this series as soon as possible Regards
Is there anyway to combine modal and harmonic analysis with wind loads in autodesk robot?
Hi CEE, thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge for all of us to learn. Your work is helping a lot of us we really appreciate. I have a question and it is about max seismic spectral acceleration S1 and Ss. The inputs for the program, are in % of g? I guess so because if not, forces seems to be quite high although working in a low seismic location. For me it is a little bit confusing because it is not clearly indicated if it is in m/s2 or %of g.
Great job professor. Really appreciate your expertise at FEA. I did my PhD in material science and worked on plastic material modelling using UMAT. . But used built in elements. Now I'm learning about elements.
What if RS define wall foundations (24:01) perpendicular to the panel in every node?
sorry mate but you did it all wrong, Z section is cold rolled section 1. When drawing in autocad you do not draw polyline but line ( centerline ) alone / the process you did is for solid section 2. When creating new section instead of new solid section you need to select new thin walled section 3. Take one of the existing cold rolled databases / copy rename it and delete existing profiles / then save your section there That way when analyzing the section it will be properly analyzed according to EN 1993-1-3
We like your videos a lot, could you please stop matlab videos :) Nobody know matlab :)
I have been following along coding in python, haven't really decided what to use to create the viewer. Potting 3d diagrams might be a lot of work.
Co może być problemem, jeżeli ROBOT generuje ławę fundamentową w każdym węźle zamiast jednej pod całą krawędzią?
Dear Dr. CEE After I completed this course i want to ask you : what is the extended analysis that you get from this software rather than using robot, and whether this software cover all of the required code design steps
Instead of the repeat definition of the same filter, use the small drop down button next to the filter button to re-pick the last selection set. If you save the filter, the name of the filter will appear in the drop down filter menu.
Great series. You made a comment "a lot of work". All this model in parts 1-4 could be done in minutes by creating the model in InfraWorks (starting with a blank project, no model builder or other data import required). Then create your bridge and get analytical model using Refined Analysis tools. Check it out!
