Cat Training - Catch a Treat!
A few times a week, GB and I hang out in front of our house (leashed) to continue his socialization. He can still get nervous when strangers pass by or when he hears loud vehicles. I don’t mind that he’s cautious around total strangers unless I’m with him (for his safety), but I want him to feel comfortable and be confident. I want him to trust that I’ve got his back.
This time, I decided to work on a new trick. One of his favorite tricks is sitting on his back legs and begging for a treat. When he did that, I tossed a treat, aiming between his little paws. At first, the treat landed all over the place, but eventually, he figured out how to catch it using both ...

So cute! When my sweet kitten first came to live with me She was four months old already. for the first six months we would play catch every morning bright colored mice. I would throw it about 20 feet away. She catch it and then bring it back to me. she got to the point where sometimes she caught it, mid air 3 feet high. Sometimes when I was doing the dishes, she would bring the treat to the doorway to let me know she was ready to play. Three years later, I can’t I her a play catch, I’ll throw it and then she’s just stares at it. Good news is when I throw her treats all over the house. She will run after them she’ll leave climb to get them Or hunt when I hide them from her.😂
