No. Just pop the wire off the plug and do it from there. Easy install.

@@patmcguire6867 But that depends on ur model? but if you can reach the plug just pull it off till you can work on it. But again depends on the model and where the plug is located. But also remember it can be istalled anywhere on the wire , but its better placing it higher IMO.

@@bakarikonte it’s worth it with or without eps. Just depends on how you plan on using it. I love it without and love my 450 with it.

Negative. I’m looking into buying one but I haven’t needed one yet by any means. The great thing is it’s a 700 Kodiak base model. It weighs about the same as the 450 Kodiak eps. Around 650ish lbs

The Polaris is really a 499cc and the Kodiak is a 421cc, and you can see the difference in speed in a race, but it’s not much of a difference. Seems to be some throttle issues after going in water for the Polaris though

They don’t have it on the base model 700, but you get it at a much more affordable price. I personally think it’s worth it without in terms of longevity, but power steering is always a luxury add on

Yessir, it was easier than I thought it would be. Also, put about 1.4 hours on it tonight with my son, nice and easy trail ride. It’s a dream of an ATV and no power steering is actually nice on it. You don’t notice it at all

Yeah just base model, but more mechanical than electric which should be good long term! And it was 7,499 off the floor, couldn’t pass it up!

It’s great, especially for a single rider. I look forward to hitting the trails with it more. Reliable as hell too! I’ve got my son and my wife so I figured I’d get another rig! Just got the 24 kodiak 700 base today. Can’t wait to give it a go!

The power is plenty and I weigh a solid 190ish give or take. I’ve had all three of us on it before and it is more power than I would ever use with everyone on it. I usually tone it down on the trails too because it’s got a kick. Great thing is, it’s such a light efficient machine too👍🏼 I recommend 100%
