Thank you for your tremendous leadership of Western New England University. The growth of our wonderful community has been greatly accelerated by your personal energy. Congratulations and all the best to you and yours. I recall graduating from WNEU in 1972 and wanting to live locally in the area, but it never happened (unfortunately). Western Massachusetts is a special place for me, because one of my great uncles (Dr. Thornton W. Merriam) taught there following his retirement from the position of Dean of Springfield College, and as I recall, he took great enjoyment from it. Always be proud of this university, I was proud to be a part of it (however briefly) (1970-72). May peace be with you always.
