In this section we travel along rural roads, through pine forests and native bush and across farms meeting some animals along the way.

A lovely stroll in the woods George, I did wonder whether the dog was going to make a lunge for your drone approaching Middy hut!

@@boostedshuttle2231 thanks. I rely on the Te Araroa Trail App for a lot but in these sections being local helps.
@GeorgeBeck100 that would be handy for that section, im from the south island so I'm looking forward to seen you down hear. I use the same ta app as well. For my sections

@GeorgeBeck100 I really like the Richmonds, I liked nelson lakes also. Tuff but views are fantastic and worth the time.
100 percent agee, you have to look after your feet and shoes. Most important part in my opinion. Good to find your channel.

Looks pretty hard yakka George, how are you going to cope with the Browns Bay to Taka? AT have been falling behind on grinding the trip hazards in the footpaths!
