Bathroom sink call. 105
Просмотров 42Год назад
this sink overflowed on its own. we used a randy hole to clear it.
And 3rd of the cost
Rigid should pay you thousands for this video because I've searched everywhere and this is the only video and is the reason I will buy this product.
Haha. I cant twll if you are joking or not! I did post some using the k102. But never the 12.
Voice over
20 ft for the price difference is steep!
That's what I've been thinking too. If you want more footage, the K50 and K60 have descale head attachments for going further.
This is great Video you may need little help with this foot pedal ruclips.net/user/shortsWJWlTy61a9A?si=cXHgyAGPJGWMhn_X
The Savoy deserves it!
So why didn’t you snake the toilet, instead of the drainage waste vent pipe? I’m learning?
Wanted to keep the mess down. I know that sounds silly. Sometimes the closet auger doesn't work the way i would like it to. That at the moment seemed like the less dirty option haha
We pulled a rag and wipes in a big glob out of there
Thanks
I’ve heard people complain about the clutch in the k9-12!
Honestly havent even used it enough. I love the 102. Wish they made a smaller one we could send through bathtub overflows
Those condensate lines can get quite nasty, you gotta see this big 3 inch copper pipe where it all connects to it’s like pounds of gook that collects, everytime i unclog a pan I blow nitrogen through it to purge some out, I have to be careful because it’s not vented. I bet the condensate pipe on that unit is probably clogged that was good idea to vaccum 👍
Nice 👍 what was that pump discharge for? Probably a sump, it sucks when the drain fails for them
It was wash machine and ac condensate pump lines. That floor drain is tied into the kitchen sink upstairs.
I've never seen a stem before! I had to google it. Most of the flow control stuff that I'm aware of here is on the shower head or faucets themselves
We never look foward to replaceing them. Have to turn whole buildings off to do it. How have you been?
Those pipe wrenches are necessary sometimes lol I had a difficult union the other day, everything turned except the union coupling itself 😩 I had to grab the backend with my channel lock and use the pipe wrench and this was in that ceiling video lol in the beginning you can see my aluminum pipe wrench, they are the best 👍 light as hell lol
I want to buy a set of aluminum pipe wrenches but the damn things i got never wear out.
@@maintenanceisfun those orange ones, I have a few of those, they are heavy when you gotta get up on a ladder to open something, you will love your aluminum wrenches trust me
How long have you been posting videos bro? Somtimes i dont care for the hassle of it. But i like being able to show how my job is. Its alot easier to get followers by posting shorts. I just want to get sent some free tools haha.
Was it fun? Thanks for sharing! God Bless ❤.
Its never fun! Haha! How have you been?
Those 4 inch blades are the best!! One time I was stripping a floor and I always used them for the wax along the edges while working the buffer, I forgot to cap the blade and had it sticking out of my back pocket and it caught my arm while I was working the buffer 😩
Man i did wood floors for a while, and absolutely loved running the buffer. After i got done learning it the hard way haha. Smashed me into a couple walls
Much easier than patching the wall 😂😂 just put an 11”x11” access panel
Hell yeah! You ever patch a wall then have to cut it open the next week lol.
👍
A lot of hair dye in that one 😂😂 great job!! The overflow drain is the way to go!!
I’m surprised they had so much hair, those drain mushroom thingys are pretty good, they catch most hair
You want me to send you a glob of hair? Ill trade you for a slice, we both have plenty hahaha.
🤭
This is horrible. Learn more plumbing friend. Best of luck to you!
Okay you fixed the toilet but what is up with the poop? Thats more liquid than solid
Hahaha. The resident said it started filling yesterday afternoon and didnt report it until noon today
😂no se k es peor antes o ahora?
All of it!
What is that the vent? I never saw an access like that before that’s pretty cool you pass the P trap
9 times out 10 they are vents. I guess the old sub contractors wouldnt try to snake from under the sink or down the top, so they just cut holes and drilled into the pipe. We have been putting no hubs on them as we find em. The ones with tape sometimes spew in the wall when it backs up.
@@maintenanceisfun absolutely 👍 this way you can bypass the p trap and just use the plastic thing which I use btw also
Nice 👍 I remember when I was a kid I tried to do it from the drain, it got stuck lol
Have you broke a cable in a drain yet?
@@maintenanceisfun just that one, it’s a nightmare
Ive broken 2 off in the last year, like 5-10 feet down. Now idea if i pushed em to the main or not haha.
Septic backflowed up the sink??
that was my first thought but if it were septic he would immediately know cause it would smell like shit
I thought coffee grounds at first, but didn't smell like that. It was like applesauce constancy but rust in color.
@maintenanceisfun definitely not something you want to see daily on a job ;😉
Doesn’t look like puke. It looks like somebody took a dump in the sink.😂
🤣🤣🤣
That’s what I thought. 😂
Most times the job is gross. I just had to do the same thing this morning.
I hope you get to do those things on your list my friend.
You use the k9-12 on kitchen sinks for grease?
I havent used the 12 before, only because the 102 is the one in my truck. But they are the same cable and i have used it on most clogs we cannot get with a 1/4 snake. The heads are a little hard to get around small joints, but clean a pipe wall to wall. Just have to run cold water to flush debris as you go.
Nice job 👍
Why not just scoop up the heavy stuff and wash. Js. Nice clear though
Just a way to make sure its actually clear i guess. If it was a sink we would of. Believe it or not thay was one of the hardest lately have had to clear haha.
TNT or C4 next time!
Its still gross down there haha. That was at least a month ago
Happy 100 soon! You should give away whatever you pull out of the next drain
I was thinking about shipping my helper to someone to do their yard work lolol.
I did want kinda try a 150 subscriber give away but no one seemed really interested
@@maintenanceisfun I wish I had a two storey house. So I could go up stairs and say to him "Go check the ones down stairs" until he finally decides to leave :D
🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣
Next time empty out all the water then try baking soda with vinegar that unclog sinks quick
I don't think that would've helped with the steel wool.
I love the noises. Sounds like your camera was In a home depot bucket
And left the drill in hammer mode lol. I wish i knew how to eliminate the sounds. I turn my phone or tv down.
@@maintenanceisfun haha it's all good we all make mistakes. I been doing maintenance for 6 yrs and I have plenty of off days
Where do you do maintenance at?
@@maintenanceisfun a hotel atm but I've done apartment turnovers as well
Hotel keep ya busy? I interviewed at one but declined the job
You need a Mr Bull from Peppa Pig for this one! ruclips.net/video/2WToRVUPo6o/видео.html
I bet you have his tattoo huh! My daughter watches peppa pig sometimes! We got her a nintendo game and the clerk was like, thanks for buy our last copy. People werent exactly lining up to buy it hahahaha
What is this a school>!?!! lol Whole lunch in that thing
Hahaha we will save some for you next time!
That’s good ol air conditioning condensate 😂😂
Just wanted to hit it while we were there. Idk how food always finds a way into those floor drains.
Getting past that P-trap can be a problem sometimes, it’s amazing how far out those clogs are 😳 in my building we would of been in the stack already lol, have you ever worked in pretty tall structure? Pulling a 3/4” snake up a stack is tough lol
No i think i havent worked on anything over 4 stories. Ive watched vieos of guys flooding lobbies snaking from the bottom clean out. I would cry!
@@maintenanceisfun yes I see that!!! There was a pre-school in one of the properties in NYC and they used wipes and they tried to clean it from the house trap which was 15 feet up by the ceiling in the cellar (in NYC ejector pumps are nessasary to get the waste up to the sewer line) and we were filling 55 gal garbage pails with nasty stuff 😳
@maintenanceisfun there’s a channel called Australia drains or something where the guy cleans drains with a water jet 😳 it’s very interesting the plumbing down under lol, the toilet the water goes down opposite direction lol
Oh man! I would just go home. There is drain cleaning Australia and drain addict. Drain addict is the absolute best drain tech ive ever seen. They dont use alot of cables like we do l, mostly jetter.
Augn't you glad we're here today? Augn't be a problem. Give us ~5 mins!
Haha we try to get there the day its put in!
Someone have used that tub as a toilet one to many times😂😂 and done the "stomp and forget"
I remember when I was a kid we rented a hand snake for the upstairs tub and I didn’t know any better and went in thru the drain 😳 needless to say I owed them another snake and a plumber had to open up from the ceiling on the first floor to get to it lol
I used to think thats how to do it to! We break alot of stainless steel ptraps. Do you live in NYC?
@@maintenanceisfun I live in Brooklyn and I work in NYC
I want try that real pizza from out there. Pastrami looks good too!
Awesome channel 👍💯🎯 I have a similar channel but your content is really spot -on, best wishes 🙏🏼💯
Thank you! I dont take the videos to serious. I just do my job and put it up haha. Ill follow you back, maybe i can learn some things from you!
Great video! 4:42 that tile is loose . Left bottom comes up.
Tipping waste cooking probs
Yeah there was alot of grease in there. Smelled pretty bad. Always a crock pot on kitchen counter with these.
That was a good one 🤮
Always buy the best camera man in the biz lunch!
You missed the real fun part, dumping all the water on the floor lol.
My specialty! That floor was getting replaced lol.
1:10 hahahha you could make a whole series called "What is that? "
It scares us sometimes haha.
It's Augursaurus day!
I don't have a disposal but if whenever my sinks get clogged, I've had good luck using a toilet plunger to get things moving again.
