Hi Colleen! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comment and your honesty in opening up the way you have. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. My sister lost her husband just over 2 years ago and so I have seen how hard such a loss can be first hand. It must have been doubly hard to be in a new place at the time. I am so sorry.... truly. As for the moving process... it is hard, emotional and scary. I'd been wanting to move near one of my sons for many many years... then finally a series of things happened to make this move possible. I purged and packed and gave things away... I put things for free in front of my house and took things to the charity shops that accept donations but in the end I still have a lot of STUFF! I honestly don't know how I could have done it without my sons and my neighbors and friends and family. I'm so sorry you don't have someone to help. So sorry. Colleen, do you have friends and family in PA!? I am hoping they can be the strength you need to get through this move into a new adventure. Please let me know how you make out and know that I understand and pray for open doors to get you where you want and need to be! (P.S. Thank you for watching my painting videos. Hi Dottie! Thank you for your comment! I do understand the financial end of things. My son Jonathan, has a twin who lives in Long Island and wanted (needed) to be near one of my sons. My move to Vermont has brought be into apartment living and with housing so expensive it did increase my living expenses which I will address another time! Vermont is beautiful! Ann Thanks for the encouragement! so far I really enjoying the flexibility of oils. Can't wait to do some winter scenes now that I'm up here in Vermont. The scenery is a little bit different because the green mountains go through Vermont and they are absolutely lovely.❤❤❤

@ I’ve always thought Vermont sounds very nice, especially in Winter…..but then I’m sort of guessing :)

Thank you for your comment. I'm so sorry it took me so long to respond! Painting with watercolor is more difficult for me when I push through too quickly. Especially those controlled washes that I love doing. The timing on those is so important! Thank you again for your comment. I really appreciate it.😊

I’m glad I met you too. The barriers always seemed high in HS but now with years and experience we can just be who we are and finally at the reunion the barriers were gone! It has taken me a LONG time to choose to embrace being me! but I have and so have you and life will be richer for it! 😊

Anne thank you! I know we’re in this together trying to do our RUclips channels and just share what we are doing. So far I haven’t had any negative comments but that thumbs down definitely give me a wake up call that putting ourselves out there makes us vulnerable. But it also makes us powerful. Becky, I understand completely. It’s somehow easier to escape than to live our own lives. But then after I have binge watched or scrolled for hours on FB and Instagram I find myself feeling worse and adding to everything else regrets! it’s a heavy load for us to carry. I think that we need to stick together in this battle! Join each other in support. Yesterday I changed my user image and I actually put a picture of myself up. That was a huge milestone for me because I’ve been using picture of my sign or a cartoon. It was a way to avoid looking at myself. It’s time for us to love ourselves.
