Its easier to find the Ndebele greetings. We are home & dry on those ones but the challenge is when 1 is travelling using public transport or on tillpoints when you want to buy food /groceries. You can focus on how to say drop me off there, how to ask whats available on the menu, how to ask for directions, how much is this, how to negotiate in Ndebele. The other thing i realised is there is a lot of slang but desist from teaching that until someone actually knows the proper term(s).
Great lesson. I learnt new ways to greet others.
This good , very easy to catchup
This so easy for me ccy thanks so much , can you keep on doing more of this

Is it correct to say ngilodade wami?
Not really. Brother and sister have to be udadewethu and umnewethu
What is the meaning from inkani?
It means nharo in Shona, stubborness in English
What means ikhovula?
mucus
Its interesting how Ndebele sounds like isiXhosa, but its not. Like, there is a noticeable subtle difference. I speak isiXhosa so i feel like if i heard someone speak Ndebele id automatically assume its a Xhosa dialect. Its so fascinating how this simple phrase means something else in isiXhosa. This was very informative, thank you🥹🫶🏽
Lovely to have you on the channel mntasekhaya❤...yes there are so many similarities between the 2 languages!

New subscriber here! I know a bit of isindebele hoping to learn more. Though I'm told i raise my tone on certain words I'm supposed to lower my tone and lower it where I'm supposed to raise it and honestly I don't understand that.
😄I get what they mean. For example, when talking in past tense, you have to raise the last syllable like the 'ne' in 'Ngibone'- I saw
