FIRE THE GRID ~ SHELLEY YATES ~ 2012 I had the honour of being present at this talk by Shelley Yates in 2012. The room was humming with excitement. 150 people were packed into a room that was supposed to hold just 80. It was standing room only. A hush fell over the crowd as Shelley unpretentiously, introduced herself as a former "tough cookie" from Halifax, Nova Scotia, a Pastor's daughter who was sexually abused by her father, and, as a result, prior to the events she was about to recount, was suicidal, hooked on Prozac and did not believe in God. Then she began to tell her story, a powerful, spellbinding tale of catastrophic events which had led to a miraculous resurrection of a dying child and the potential redemption of a dying world. She was obviously not a practiced public speaker, but that made the simple, genuine rawness of her presentation even more compelling and convincing. At the end, she took care to acknowledge she knew that what she was saying seemed incredible, that it might be difficult, even impossible, to believe. But she assured us every word was true. If we had our doubts and wanted proof, we could check out the records at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax! She waited while the significance of what she had told us permeated the consciousness of the crowd. Then she broke the silence to ask. Who was in the room who would be willing to accept responsibility for leading the meditation in Vancouver? My response to her invitation was immediate: "I had no clue what I was signing up for "I will." The television Betacam swung to record my commitment. the RUclips invitation I did got over 15,000 hits! Still, I thought that maybe fifteen or twenty people would come. I was so wrong. Participants began gathering in the Stanley Park location at 2 am in the morning. They came in waves, silently taking their places in an ever-widening circle. By the time the circle was complete, there were 220 people. We passed the talking stick and each person shared what had called them to this momentous occasion. The stick arrived back in my hands just before four am when the global meditation was to begin. I read the Sanskrit Salutation to the Dawn, and the circle settled into the meditation, focusing for an hour on whatever gave us joy. I opened my eyes as the chatter of birds began to announce the rising of the sun. There was a pale "purple haze" over everyone and everything. That was in May of 2012. It is now December, 2020. Recently I have been thinking about the need for a global meditation of this size to raise the consciousness of the planet. I found myself telling a colleague who understands the science of metaphysics about about that magical, transcendent experience and the impact it had on global consciousness. In fact, days after the event, which was participated in by 10.8 million people all over the planet, I was astonished to discover that, there had been an inexplicable spike in the vibrational frequency of the planet which had been measured by instruments Stanford University. Today, I decided to google "Fire the Grid" and look what popped up. The very talk which I attended all those years ago! If this isn't a sign that it's time for Fire the Grid III, I don't know what is!

@@Shelora I love your account of that day and it’s no coincidence that you came upon the video of Shelley’s talk in 2012. I loved what you said about a pale purple haze over everyone. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have met Shelley a few times as we live in the same area. Her experiences have impacted my life, too. I’m not surprised that the attendance was so large in Vancouver in 2012. People are drawn like magnets to those that have been in the direct presence of Source. Any time I was around her, I could feel the energy that surrounded her....the presence of the light beings that accompanied her. Every time the light beings call on Shelley to arrange another global meditation, I attend. Now they are held online, but the experience is just as powerful. When I joined the last one a few months ago, it was so blissful I thought I was going to leave my body during the meditation. During the first Fire the Grid in July 7 of 2007 (777) I went to DeWolfe park in Bedford, Nova Scotia to see her. So many people gathered. Incidentally, my birth last name is DeWolfe. The meditation was so powerful. I felt peaceful the rest of the day. I was on vacation so thankfully I didn’t have to go to work that day. But that night after I went to bed while feeling gratitude and meditating, the most incredible thing happened. My body felt weightless and I was convinced I was glowing. I didn’t want to look under the bed covers to see...haha. I did eventually and I wasn’t glowing as I thought, but I was glowing on the inside and the euphoria was so strong, that I was too excited to sleep. The whole experience lasted an hour maybe two. Yes, it’s now 2020 but my experiences seems like yesterday. You probably feel the same way. Those specific meditations do raise the vibration of our planet. Heaven knows we need them. 2020 has been the strangest year I’ve ever lived through. But I’m always celebrating life on the inside regardless of what happens. ❤️
