What are the five most popular brands? Why are they popular? What are the strengths and shortcomings of each brand? Are they reliable across the bord? Has their quality stayed the same over time? Are they known to be manually bugged like apple products and HP printer cartridges? Is their popularity justified? Is only a certain line of their printers worth buying? Are all of their printers worth it? Which brand creates the best tank printers, which the best laser printer, which the most durable one and which is best for those who rarely print?

Hello, I have a question about using refill cartridges in a Xerox Phaser 6700. We took the "chip" from a spent cartridge and installed it onto the new "refill" xerox cartridge. Before installing the old (working) chip, the "refill" displayed "non-compatible". Changed the chip and all was well. EXCEPT for the "low toner" warning. Any way to clear that? Thanks!

Be aware, if you cannot open the first latch, look for a "bar" in-between the first and second latches. If there is one, its a screw, possibly for shipping, keeping the two latches connected and non openable. The screw head can be felt through the center of the sticker and at least a portion of the sticker will need to be removed to access it. It is just a PH2, but pretty long.

Thank you for showing the install including opening the packaging it the drum comes in. We had one in a box in our office that had been unwrapped, but then not installed. So, it was still in the black protective case just hanging out...and I had no clue if it was new or used. Seems like it's new!
