Thank you💕💕 I would recommend finding a teacher you love that you can work with, and learning from them is the quickest way to improve! If you can find a practice partner, or set a solo practice schedule, it helps a lot because it’s like doing your homework before going to class! Lastly if you don’t think you have anything to work on, you can work on your basic steps and timing! Hope this helps!🤍

Jake is a beast and my teacher lol! This is classic! In classic the music is random (DJs choice), and in showcase we know the music beforehand and lifts are allowed.:)

@@felipa-online I get confused, sometimes it seems like some moves done in classics are somewhat choreographed. All the way to obviously choreographed. Do the competitors have a certain prior routine, or routines down, where they can plug in to a unknown song as long as it matches the songs timing? Are the songs disclosed slightly prior so that the competitors can work on it for at least some small time? Or is it all fully spontaneous?

@@MrBrut1234 thank you!! We know the style of dance and we know songs will be phrased, so we prepare phrased choreography, that hits a line or a dip on every other 8 count to match the music!

That’s amazing!!! I say definitely try it out!❤ I think my first west coast teacher, Sherry, is teaching at Longhorn westies now. I had no experience, but she taught me from the ground up:) When I was in the club, we had a beginner and a level 2 class, and a short social after. It was really fun!
