    If you're handy and wanted to be able to use bathroom while in a Walmart parking lot, cut in half about 3ft up and put latch on inside to pin together when wanting full door, pull pin and leave lower half closed and upper open and jump over lower part off couch.. just a idea

      @@giovannareger9875 okay so I was monkeying around with it and the bottom zipper should be able to fully unzip so you should have 2 zippers on the bottom and it should separate. Then you just put it bottom to bottom and top to top and zip it like a jacket. Then do the same for the other side. Only issue is you’ll have a small gap between the second set of zippers that’ll let cold air in. But in summer you can open the bottom to get cool air into where your feet are. I hope this helps.

    Is it possible to leave the bathroom door open with the slide all the way in and the doorknob not push a hole in the wall? As for the mattress, could you provide dimensions? Seems like there are a few versions of RV King sizes. Have you tried the side patio? Thanks

    • @TheCampingExperience
      @TheCampingExperience 3 года назад

      I haven’t tried it, but I don’t think it’s possible to leave the bathroom door open with the slide in. I will check that, but the space between the couch and wall is only wide enough to fit a hand in between them when the slide is in. I’ll get the measurements of the bed for you today. We had freezing temperatures this weekend, so I will go out and check it today and get the dimensions of the bed when I do. I have tried the side patio. I really like that feature. It was one of the big selling points for me. It was the only bumper pull I could find with a side patio.

    • @TheCampingExperience
      @TheCampingExperience 3 года назад

      Regarding the mattress, from head to foot I measured 78” and from left to right measured 71”

    • @TheCampingExperience
      @TheCampingExperience 3 года назад

      I have checked on the question about the bathroom door being open when the slide is in. The answer is no you can't have the slide in if the door is open. The door hits the door frame of the bedroom which prevents you from moving the slide in all the way. Thanks for the questions and for checking out the video. Let me know if I you have any other questions come up.

  • @nwlady1844
    @nwlady1844 3 года назад

    Thank you for this video. This is a real newbee question. Once you have attached the fuel canister, do you have to leave it attached until it is empty... or can you just detach it like a regular propane canister for a regular propane stove. Really like the wind screen.

    • @TheCampingExperience
      @TheCampingExperience 3 года назад

      You can remove the canister when you are done cooking. The canisters stop the gas from escaping once the stove is removed just like the regular propane canisters. I used the one in the video numerous times before it ran out of gas. In between uses, I remove the stove and put the stove and canister in my backpack. I'm able to get many uses out of an 8oz can of fuel. I hope this helps :-) Also, the windscreen has been a big help. I live in an area that, at times, has a lot of wind. I'm glad I bought it.

    Bruh the quality of this movie is amazing. What phone did you use?

    • @TheCampingExperience
      @TheCampingExperience 3 года назад

      Thanks! It was recorded with a Panasonic camera. I was testing out a Panasonic S1H at Gulf Islands National Seashore. I have noticed that video recorded on my phone uploaded through the YT app over a cellular network isn't the same quality as the same video uploaded over my home network through RUclips studio on my desktop. The two short videos on this channel of the Nemo tent are much higher quality in the original video files than what you see on RUclips. Those two were recorded using the YT phone app on an Iphone 12. It also limited me to 15 seconds per video for some reason. Shorts can be up to 1 minute. The only thing I can come up with as a reason for the 15 second limit for those two videos is that it might have something to do with only having 1 bar of cell service at the time they were recorded and uploaded. This video wasn't limited to 15 seconds, but it was uploaded from my desktop over a standard internet connection and wasn't recorded using the YT phone app. I need to do some more testing of shorts videos on my other RUclips channel (ruclips.net/channel/UCMzaJDRzTDz-FMbguApsZ0A). If I figure out the limitations involving the app, I'll reply to your post and let you know what I find. Thanks so much for checking out the channel and video and for the positive words of encouragement!

    I just started using the damp rid product yesterday in my RV and so far, there is about a cup of water in the container and the puck is foaming. I like the fragrance it emits. I have a remote camera to put out in my RV so I can monitor the water and dump it out.

    • @TheCampingExperience

      I don't have the option of the remote camera to monitor mine, but I do check them about every two weeks or so. So far they are working well for me. It beats having the higher expense of the big damp rid buckets which didn't work as well for me.

    What size camper do you have? How many of the damp rid white tab holders do you use?

    • @TheCampingExperience
      @TheCampingExperience 3 года назад

      I have a 32 ft. toy hauler. I use 3 of them. One in the bathroom, one in the living area, and one in the garage. My toy hauler's living area is separated form the garage by a sliding glass door, so that is why I keep one in the garage and one in the living area. The one in the living area and the one in the garage collect a good amount of moisture. I empty them between 2 and 4 week periods of time. I live along the gulf coast and we get a lot of rain. When it has been raining a lot, I'll empty the bins after about 2-3 weeks and in months where it doesn't rain all that much, I'll check them in about 3-4 weeks as far as when it's in storage. How often it rains where you are, how often you open up the camper, and how often you shower/cook in it might determine how often you change out the tablets. When I 'm out in it, the one in the bathroom collects a lot of moisture due to the use of the shower and the other two don't collect nearly as much
