4-SPEED DIECAST
Добавлен 18 фев 2008
Hello and welcome! This channel is dedicated to mostly 1/64 scale diecast cars and trucks, although at times, it's just an old dumbass with delusions of grandeur. Either way, we're going to have fun here, reviewing, detailing, customizing, and in general just having fun with little cars. And plastic people. And self loathing. I hope you enjoy the videos, and please come and check out my Facebook page, linked below. Thank you.

4-SPEED DIECAST AND THE UNHOLY GRAIL THE CHALLENGER SAGA CONTINUES!
a '69er and a swinger! I love that green Dart. What did you use to put them back together?
They're put together with screws, so it was easy peasy! I wish all the little cars were put together that way! I'd be swapping everything! 😁
I collected the 4 variations of this Dart casting that I wanted. The green one, the yellow one, then the black one and the white one. I blacked out the grill in my yellow one to match the green one, and finally did the white one too. All four have blacked out grills now. I also made a hood scoop for the white one and gave it a wheel swap. For ones I was pretty satisfied with these M2 castings. No issues at all... "BUT", I was gonna mention I did think the front wheels looked to be a bit set back too far. I really like the looks of your yellow one with the dog dish caps, and the black one looks great with the chrome wheels. Nice job there Jeff...
Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the wheel thing! 😆 But overall, I think they're pretty good! They've done a really good job on the body itself; it's very well proportioned. Really, other than the front wheel thing and the non-existent differential, I'll give it good marks! Thanks, Steve!
Vegas were cool rides. Especially when ya dropped a 350 in them... I did that wit two of them. The first was pretty much a flop. It was a rust bucket, but the 2nd one was a much better body and MAN~OH~MAN did that sucka fly. You couldn't keep it going straight if you launched it with the pedal to the metal and dumped the clutch. Just a standard 350 with a small cam shaft, a Holly 650 4bbl carb and a set of headers. It was a fun and quick little shit...LOL... I kept blowing clutches and finally bought a damn good Centerforce clutch, kit. It came with a heavy duty pressure plate and throw out bearing. Then I started blowing rear ends and breaking motor mounts....
A Vega rust bucket!?! Say it ain't so!!! 😆 I've never owned a Vega personally, but I had a couple of friends who did, and they were ok little cars for the most part. One of them, a '74 GT that was bronze with white stripes and a white interior, I tried to buy from the owner for months, but he wouldn't sell. He ragged on the thing for a couple of months, blew the clutch, and dumped it on the towing company that picked it up. Pissed me off, but back then, they were disposable, so... Y'know, I haven't seen a Vega on the road in years. I know they're not extinct, but a good one is scarce! There was a time in the mid-80s when my favorite local junk yard had a baker's dozen of them lined up, waiting for the mobile crusher to come and flatten them. They'd yank the motor and trans, drain the tanks, and put it in line. They didn't bother with removing anything else; nobody was buying parts for them, so they went bye-bye. Kinda sad. But every car maker had their issues back then, so they weren't the only thing lined up for the crusher!
It takes a lot of time and patience to create a video like this. Time, patience, and talent.
@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 Thanks, man! I think it's all crap myself, but it's fun and it stops me from touching my penis! Honestly, finding time to actuality make a video is the hard part. Talking stupid shit about cars, that's easy! 😆
Beautiful Camaro IROC Z.
2:13 Is that who I think it is?
Who do think it is?
It. Sorry, forgot it. Who do you think it is?
@@MaxtheFinger It sure looks like the Iceman to me.
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 The Iceman Cometh! 😆
That Mercedes is pretty nice for a Hot Wheels.
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 It is! I detailed it a bit, but I haven't had it back on the channel. I think I need to!
We had a Corvair for a little while. My Dad liked it. Good gas mileage. But they used to blow the belts like weekly. He got real good at swapping and remounting the belts. I remember them being real roomy. All those cars from that time frame rusted out. Especially the Datsuns and the Fords. But I lost my beloved Chevette to rust (and emissions). Great video.
Thanks, T-Joe! We had a '65 Corvair when I was a kid that had the same issue with the belts. But then my dad drove everything like he was racing at Daytona, so something was broke all the time. He broke a lot of stuff! 😆
Not real a fan of the Aussie cars, just because I don't know much about them at all. I know they had a HW Charger that looked more like a Dart and a Chevy that looked like a Nova. All I have seen look pretty cool though. I would take the Forza tampo off the yellow and black HW.
I would be a bigger fan of them if I could get my hands on one! 😆 The big 4 put together some odd and cool stuff back in the day. I know you're a fan of Dusters and Demons; Google up South African Chrysler Charger. They a were 383 powered, right-hand drive amalgamation of both cars with a Charger badge thrown on! Weird! On the Forza car, if it didn't have such crappy paint, I probably would delete the shit on the door, but...🤨
Very creative video with good, wicked humor. I loved the cars, and it always irks me when the paint is sub-par too. Great job, but I can't get that friggin' background jingle outta my head!!!!!!
It's the Captain Kangaroo song! 😂 Thanks, T- Joe!
Ford wins hands down!
You always make me laugh. I love those 60s Chevies and Fords. My Dad had a Falcon with the V8. We went through a lot of hand me downs cars and cars on their last legs. Thanks for the shoutouts.
I wish I still had some of those trashy old cars from back in the day when you could buy a running car for a couple hundred bucks. It's been a long time since I've had a car that I just didn't care about and could just beat the living tar out of it. 😁
@@MaxtheFinger Get a Nissan Altima. They are cheap. Run them until the CVT blows up!
@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 😆 I've always wanted to torture test a CVT! Don't get me thinkin'!
@@MaxtheFinger Oh, you'll get a kick out of it because they scream when they suffer.
@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 🤣
Very cool my friend.....
Thanks, Brian! 😁
To me the 64 Galaxie was better looking than the 63, also the 63 impala was better than 62..
@@briancritchley5295 I can see that as well. I wouldn't kick any of them out of the garage for leaking oil! 😆
If I could have a cool old car, it would be the 64 Galaxy, set up like a stock car.
@ShortbusGang That would be cool! I love old stock cars from back in the day!
If you didn’t know, your car has a special feature, put a light underneath the little spot on the bottom of the chassis. It will light up your headlights and windshield. I have the white factory fresh with the blue headlights.🎉❤
@@oscarvargas1491 What!?! I gotta try it! 😀
TJoe send me over. Dude...the urinals LOL. I did not expect that. Just subbed.
😆 She almost drown! Thanks and welcome!
I have fallen asleep sitting on my toilet. But never at a urinal. I like the gold Charger. It goes well with the theme of the video. Time for a shower!
😆 I have the right to remain silent, so I shall!
LOL. Cant say I have either Thanks for recommending him. Great stuff
I like the 65 Impalas always been a fav .great video man

66 & 67 are my favorite Chargers

😆 Thank you, Your Grace!
I gotta say those kids in Chyna be fukkin' up lately.
They need to feed them less until quality improves! 😆 Wow! I'm a terrible human!
Rivieras are ugly cars. I only have one...and I wish I didn't.
😆 I love 'em! Not that particular one, but in general. We had family friends when I was a kid that had a '65 duel-quad 425, triple white, then one of my high school friends had a '71 boat-tail with the 455, triple friggin' GM forest green. I took quite a few fast rides in those two. Pretty good cars for high speed, luxurious shenanigans! 😄 I don't know what happened to the '65, but the '71 wound up nose first in a big ditch at close to triple digit speed, so...
HA !!! Finger boy . . . Terrific stuff.
You know, no one watches this video, and I don't know why. Opening with a rectal exam story probably didn't help! 😆
Firebird
Oohh... Clutch playin' at the beginning. Nice.
I thought it was appropriate! 😆 Clutch friggin' rocks!
Yikes! The paint rash on your GTX is worse than on the one I have. I was so pissed.
@@bluesfan4life_945 I know, right!?!
I have a set of the 2 pack Jonny Lightning Royal Bobcat vehicle's.
😂 Hahaha!
I have a couple of these fake plastic Superchrome van's. Wish they're metal on metal, not the gold wrap crap.
Not a Mustang guy but.... Nice work Auto World.
Yeah, I'm not a 'Mustang' guy either, but the '71-3s, I love 'em! They made a big impression on me when I was a kid and they were new.
Preach Reverend Finger , preach !!
You made that crappy casting a thousand times better. That thing was roached.
@bluesfan4life_945 Thanks man! It's still one of my favorites!
I have that same casting from years ago. The paint is a lighter orange, but the same stripes. It had a white interior and white wall tires. I painted the interior black and reversed the white walls to look as a friend's 1:1 he had in 1975. His was a standard 302 2 bbl carb and was a "DOG". The car couldn't get out of it's own way, but at first glance looked like a Boss 302 from the stripes.
To get around insurance rates, you could get those 302 2 bbls to run pretty well. It took some work though. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a Holley 650 cfm double pumper, a small Ford Motorsport camshaft to handle the extra fuel flow, and the hardest part of port matching and polishing the heads to a set of good Hooker headers. An electric fuel pump also helped to increase fuel pressure. They did have allot quicker throttle response and you could feel the difference how the ride pulled much harder. But 1972 rolled around and Detroit cut compression in all the muscle cars which lowered the horse power a great deal in the Hi-Po cars. Chrysler had a back stock of high performance stuff they still offered in later years. What was a High Performance package was called the Trailer Package. All the good stuff except for a good Hi-Po engine. Yes I am an old Gear~Head, Grease Monkey who loved the hot cars and fast ladies of the 70s!!!
@stevemason5173 Oh, I know who you are, Mr. Mason! 😆 How's it goin', buddy! I've only had a couple of 302 powered cars myself, but I've worked on a bunch of them! They are great little engines; gotta be to have the lifespan they had! The two that I had really accentuated the difference that the drop in compression ratios made on the smaller engines in general. I had a '70 and a '73 Torino, both 302/auto, 2-V, that I just did the typical stuff to, a good tune with a bit of a bump in timing. The '70 just lit up! It was a ball to drive! The '73 was a D O GG dog! I'm couldn't tell you what gearing they were running; maybe the '70 was a bit steeper, but I doubt it. They both turned about 2400 rpm at 60, so... The '73 just didn't have any snap.
Every chrome interior and base I come across , gets dropped in Super Clean. It disintegrates the chrome .
@bluesfan4life_945 Yes sir! It'll strip it off quick!
Great stuff! Love the music. Wish I would have seen this live .
There was music? 😆 It's been too long! Thanks! I just noticed your channel name. Is that like SOuthern ILlinois?

Do you want to sell that old split bumper Camaro the one that's beat up
Nah, i can't sell it, buddy. It's an old friend.
Chevys... Chev ro~Leave~It~Lay... LOL... I used to love hanging at the drive-ins where all the hot cars and fast ladies hung out, and hear all the jokes the hot rodders made about the different makes of cars. Fords, Chevys and the Mopars. As a basic Ford man, "Mustangs" from the 60s and 70s, I have always had a high level of respect and admiration for any kind of car as long as it looked good and was fairly quick. Johnny did a great job on the Chevy castings. If ya think about it, Chevrolet came out with the little round tail lights in 1960 all the way to 1965 and I thought all designs were cool. Another great video here!!!
@stevemason5173 Thanks Steve! I appreciate the flowers! 😁 I profess to be a Mopar guy, and I am, but I can't put down anybody for what they dig! I've had a love affair with cars since I was a wee boy, and it just won't stop! Nor do I want it to! And I'm pretty sure you're the same way! 😉
My name is Subharma Sen Sharman, but they call me Timmy......lol
😅
My Dad had a '67 Caprice with the 283 Spitfire. We also had a '68 Station Wagon with the 305 and electrical issues. Then came a '74 Impala Station wagon. Lime green with a 350. It was our first car with air conditioning.
What's up, T-Joe! Yeah, man, those big Chevy's were a part of my childhood too! My mom had a '68 and a '71, my grandad had a '60, a '65, and a '74, then I went thru a bunch of them when I started driving. Most of them wound up broken. 😆
