Fun footage of guns and a message to my subscribers. And I meant KKM barrel, not KCM... it was late, what can I say? (For those interested in my books, just google my book titles and my name: Last Delivery, William G. King or Familiar Strangeness, William G. King.

The Glock 19X, why Glock doesn't innovate, and Holosun SCS fail?
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.9 месяцев назад
The audio/volume goes in and out a bit at the beginning, but it smooths out. Sorry for that. I am just speaking into my phone, and I think it has something to do with my distance and my intonation at times. That being said, this is a video about the 19X and why I feel it's the best handgun for true SHTF as well as the best Glock out of the box.

testing gen 5 Glock MOS, gear, and BCM rifle with FN barrel at the range

It's been a while since I posted a video. No music or frills here, just footage at the range where I'm shooting a BCM with PSA's CHM FN barrel and running it in an AR500 Veritas plate carrier with ceramic plates. I didn't realize until I started shooting that I hadn't threaded my camelbak tube through my shoulder straps, and since I was on a time crunch, I just improvised. (You can also see my ...

    The Shield Arms Z9 mags have been out for a while-they are reliable.Have you tried these?

  • @chasedooley6237
    @chasedooley6237 6 дней назад

    Sucks those mags didn’t work for you. I heard so many problems I never considered them. Reliability is first and foremost, and my 43X shoots great with OEM mags. I’m ok with the lower capacity, since the gun falls into a lightweight carry option for me. It’s just so comfortable to carry over my 19, which isn’t too heavy to begin with. The 43X is actually replacing my 26 I think, because if I can carry that, it’s not much of a jump to the 19 anyway. Hope your writing is going well! And hope to see more videos from time to time. You’re one of the best “GunTubers” on here. Actual, real-life, hard testing of EDC. Take care

    Yeah. I’m an OEM kinda guy when it comes to magazines for my EDC. My Canik mags will work as far as feeding goes in my Walther PDP. But sometimes don’t lock the slide on the last round. I’ve practiced so much using the slide release on reloads that it definitely can throw me off.

    I love Glocks and Sigs. But most people that carry g19 are people that have been carrying it for years and doing like change. Better options are out there and fyi I do carry my g19 occasionally but I carry my Sigs more. I trust both with my life.

    I can't afford to go 10,000 right now but it's nice to know what I can expect with my G19 at that round count. The Only thing that I've noticed under 500 rounds is that the finish wore off on my barrel. I don't like the look but it hasn't henderd my proformance.

BUT......I am not naive and blind to the world we now live, the threats that we are up against and the animals that want to prey on us! I know in my heart that 5-6 may not be enough an d I owe it to myself and family to be ready for the fight. I am ordering a 19 and may even order a 43X while I am at it. Thanks for a very informative, concise, and straight forward delivery. Subbed!

    16K+ rounds through my AIWB EDC. I've also been running it as my USPSA match gun for the past 14 months ( 2 matches per month). Every match I compete in, i watch some Glock owners have multiple malfunctions. That and the fact that I've made it this far with my M&P 2.0 4.25 C.O.R.E is the reason why my glocks are now gun safe buddies. I'm still using the 2 original S&W 17rd metal mags that it came with, alongside 3 other S&W original metal mags I ordered when I first got the gun. I have more than 20+ glock mags sitting in my safe(9mm & 40s&w), all but 3 of them have a red X marked on them, because they're unreliable. My 5 factory 17rd metal mags have shared the load of the 16k+ rounds I've put through my M&P 2.0. Never once disassembled & cleaned, or replaced a spring or follower in either one. My 2 glocks G22 & G35 combined have a little over 7Krds through them in 40s&w ammo. And a little over 2krds with a 9mm conversion barrel and 9mm RSA & original glock 9mm mags. Every single brand, type, and weight (115gr to 147gr) 9mm ammo I have put in my M&P 2.0, it's ran them flawlessly. I simply can't say the same for my 2 glocks. Whether it was 9mm or 40s&w, there were certain brands and weights that would cause them to malfunction. For instance cheap PMC bronze 180gr, and a few 9mm 147gr flat nose rounds, and certain hollow points, would hang up & not properly feed with certain mags. I also carried an XDM40 for 10yrs around my place of business for personal protection. It literally saved my life when I decided to go burn the midnight oil one night, and stumbled upon a couple of burglars that had the same idea. , but that's another story for another day. I still like to shoot both my glocks from time to time, but my 2.0 just feels and shoots better and has been reliable enough for me to trust my life with it. P.S. my first 2 guns i purchased at 21 were 3rd gen smiths. A model 4506 45cal 8rds and later that year a model 4006 40s&w 11rds. Still reliable and my "no, they're not for sale" guns at age 49.

      Interesting. I shoot a lot of uspsa but the only issues I see generally with Glocks are with aftermarket parts. I have seen several issues with M&P's, but also lots of people that have similar stories to yours. Mostly what I see with any gun that has issues are ammo related, especially in uspsa where most of the shooters load their own ammo.

      It don’t need shake awake because it doesn’t take batteries, it runs on the solar panel and a capacitor so your always good to go, it takes a few days of zero light for it to turn off and a quick flash of light brings it back on

    Love my Glock 45, even as a newer shooter, it feels natural in the hand and shoots so well. Struggling to conceal it myself but still trying carry options. Great gun, my go to is a G26 until I figure out how to carry the larger gun without obvious printing or discomfort

    Holosun has excellent customer service. They replaced my SCS after right at about a year with no questions. I filled out the warranty form on their site and they sent me a return number and a shipping label. I shipped it back and within 12 business days I had a new one. They’ll make it right. I am not a big Glock fan, but their 19X is my favorite one they make. It’s an excellent firearm. Maybe Glock will start innovating again when Gaston either steps down or passes on. Instead of innovating his pistols, he concentrates on selling horse sperm. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Whoever says the 19X is “too big” to carry hasn’t tried or they just prefer mouse guns. I carry and conceal just fine my Walther Full Size PDP 5 inch every single day.

    I love my G19 Gen 5, but the 19X just feels good and works for me. Unfortunately it isn’t MOS and I could get the slide milled, but I didn’t send it off. Instead I got a Dove Slide mount for my Holosun 507 K for it. I use a Tenicor and it conceals decent, but not as good for me like the 19. I’m still parking on it though. Thanks for making this video 🤘🇺🇸
