CSX unit ethanol train B683 is southbound in Athens, Alabama, rerouted from the N&C/W&A route.
If you've seen some of my previous videos shot at this location you would have seen a large concrete block building in much of the frame on the other side of the tracks. That building was destroyed by a tornado that went through Athens late in the evening on Saturday, December 28, 2024. On the right side of the frame is the L&N freight depot, which you can see had a window that was blown out boarded up; the freight depot also suffered roof damage.
