It was interesting how CameraBryan managed to get so close to it without being killed ! Maybe the staff had tranquilized it ? The latest photos on the TCRM website show that the infamous, cursed death loco has been renumbered to 6902, and it was repainted red with a silver stripes (red to hide the blood stains) They don't even list this vicious killer on their website in the locos section. You'd have to manually type in 'Tennessee Central Railway Museum 9912' into Google to get to their page on it. The loco isn't stored in an engine shed. They keep it in a Hannibal Lecter style isolation cell, because it has a thirst for human blood. The staff tell the story that when the DC-10 goes to sleep at night, it first checks under it's bed for the 9912. 😀
