Sir, how do i start off without the engins turning on?
When you're selecting your livery and stuff you check the "engines off" box. It's worded very similar atleast
Yesterday I switched from msfs to Xplane. In msfs I always flew a330 neo so I thought it should be no problem to fly the a330 in Xplane but when When I made my flight plan the route ended in nowhere. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this?
Hmmm what do you mean by it ended in nowhere? Only thing I can think of is you didn't setup your arrival

@@Mark36912 I did see that you had 30-40kts wind speed carrier was going 29kts into the wind as they always do check and check 👍😎 I love this Sim. I stopped wearing the helmet and G suit at home though 🤣 but I did build my seat it’s very own top ejection handle (non functional sadly) and small runway inside my PC case for a scaled AV8-B complete with slime lights and UH-60L scaled to the top length of my case complete with glow markings it actually looks amazing hold tight for the footage coming soon my friend
@@Mark36912 my motherboard is dead. So I’m cleaning my case out and got building. While my PC is offline I’m here getting my DCS fix 🤣 ps I don’t really wear a G suit n helmet 👍🤣

And well I’ll be posting a video I make models as well as dioramas that’s my main focus it’s gonna look pretty unique I’m sure 👌 all I gotta do now is build and paint the aircraft add the formation lighting and it is gonna be online here to see what I did in brief I don’t show me painting the whole lot I summarise. Hope to inspire others to have fun with this

You are very lucky because i ve been trying to fly and land the original x-plane 12 a330, but it is impossible because the autothroyyle takes over when i am trying to reduce the speed for an approach , triggering all kinds of alarms and the plane either climbs steep overspeeding or dives down lacking speed . However i can easily land 747 737 without problems. I ve been flying on x-plane since version 3 . Could someone tell me why i have these problems with autopilot or whatever , same disastrous result.
It only steps in if you're way too slow. Not sure of anything else

Have you encountered any Autopilot problems?Such as quite easily getting disengaged AP1, because i tried many times, almost every time I will find some problems of Avionics
I haven't flown the A330 in months. But last time I flew it I did not have any issues.
Can't we cycle through waypoints as we can on the B737 ? So that we can see the whole route move on the screen as we cycle through the F-Plan.

I believe it is the same as the DCS F-14. I would cross reference from there. I will if I get the chance though!
Well, DCS gives F14A and the F14B. I'm quite sure that the controls would be different than in the F14D.

As someone who is so used to X Plane 11s, FMCs, this was a huge help. I know its a little similar to the fmcs on payware planes but it has been very long since I last flown one. Hence, switching over to the new fmc/mcdu on the a330 was like entering new feet for me.

I don't know why they bothered to model the AIM-54 and the AIM-7 when there's literally no way to use them, they're basically just dumb rockets in the F-14.
It makes me wonder if they work but I just don't know how to use them
@@Mark36912 so basically, you can fire the radar guided missiles as long as you’re facing the target and a firing solution is possible, and they’ll seek whatever you’re pointing at

I just downloaded X-Plane 12 to have some extra flight time when I'm on my Mac LOL -- you literally solved my problem, with a simple CLR button. Thank you! Now I can program some flights into this MCDU. Keep the videos going!

It should pop up on your screen and not let you do anything else. I'd reinstall it or ask FlyJSim

Hi! For some reason I can’t seem to be able to turn off auto thrust. Why is that?
It should auto disconnect when you pull the throttles back. I'm not sure why. I don't have too many hours in the A330

@@rev8716 Are you pushing or pulling the Autothrottle dial button? I don't remember if you need to push or pull. Its one of the two
