I hope the necessary changes will take place in the future, if they haven’t already.

      @null_design Месяц назад

      Hey Rekard, thanks! I already jumped into Houdini! No more jumps for me, at least for now. Why Blender? Is it because it is free, open-source software and therefore more accessible than Cinema 4D, leading to a potentially larger audience? I know many artists switch from Blender to Cinema 4D instead. =)

    • @bfdes7243
      @bfdes7243 27 дней назад

      @@null_design I saw a lot of examples where guys switched Blender on C4D because of their work limitations. IMO, C4D is when you are done playing and ready to go with something more professional. So no worries, and keep going with C4D 👍

    • @null_design
      @null_design 26 дней назад

      @@bfdes7243From what I understand, the Blender UX wasn't built with users in mind, probably due to its open-source nature. That's highly likely one of the main reasons people switch to Cinema 4D.

    • @null_design
      @null_design Месяц назад

      Hi there, thanks for your question! At the start screen of DaVinci Resolve, right-click on your project and select the 'Export Project Archive...' option. This way, DaVinci Resolve saves your project with all its media files from the Media Pool in one folder. First, use the method shown in the RUclips Short to remove the files that your project doesn't use, and then archive/save your project. By doing it this way, you'll be able to save your project with only the files it uses, ensuring everything needed for the project is included in a single folder. This folder is all you need to continue working on your project; everything else on your hard drive can be removed. Hope this helps!

    Does anyone know why my Niagara Particles dont show in the pngs rendered in the render queue. Its normal in the editor

    • @null_design
      @null_design Месяц назад

      Hi FairyLeela. Maybe the issue is related to how the particle sizes were generated by the emitter. For some reason, the size of the particles we see in the viewport differs from what is actually rendered. Enter the Niagara simulation from the Content Drawer, then select the emitter. Next, search for the 'Sprite Size Mode' property and make a change. Try to set it to 'Non-Uniform,' and I changed it to 'Random Uniform,' with 'Uniform Sprite Size Min' set to 1 and 'Uniform Sprite Size Max' set to 3. I hope this solution will help you. By the way I use UE 5.2

    • @FairyLeela
      @FairyLeela Месяц назад

      @@null_design Thank you I tried it with Non-Uniform, didn't work, I already had it on Random with min 2 and max 3.5 Both versions don't work unfortunately.🙈 I also tried to use the Movie scene Capture instead of the Movie Render Queue. Do you think it could be the warm up time? Too high or too low? I'm a little noob with Unreal and Niagara, sorry and thank you for your help. For a desperate way - do you know if there is a chance to screenrecord the viewer without getting pixel and codec soup 😅🙈.

Both tools can be found in the context menu by selecting polygons in polygon selection mode and right-clicking with the mouse.

      From what I've seen so far on the internet, it's the best and coolest 4090 out there with top-notch hardware components. I have only one recommendation: turn on the Fan Speed Target to the Manual value of 30-40 in GeForce Experience by default (you can increase its value or switch to Automatic if running heavy tasks). By default, the fans of this GPU don't spin at all until it reaches a certain temperature. This can occasionally cause system driver crashes due to overheating of some GPU components. I experienced that problem as well, but after setting the Fan Speed Target to manual for a few months, I haven't experienced any crashes. Additionally, I bought an additional 120mm fan and placed it on the backplate of the card to outtake the hot air and improve ventilation even further. I hope this will help you deal with any potential issues that may arise. All the best with your new GPU and VFX!

      @@djmisteralexxx I also have an old MacBook Pro from 2017, and I'm considering purchasing the Mac Mini M2 because I appreciate the aesthetics of MacOS. However, for any demanding heavy-lifting tasks, I would only choose Windows machine with a modern GPU. I should also mention that if you're planning to use DDR5 for your system, it's advisable to buy 2x32GB modules, as using 4x32GB modules can lead to significant compatibility issues. At the moment, DDR5 is still relatively new, and its reliability may not be fully established.

      @@null_design i find the 3090 to be more aesthetically pleasing, however the 4090 is of course better. My Gigabyte 2060 super (8gb white edition, quite rare) has the same start buffer with very short pathing but it gets slower the finer the detail.

      @@kingghidorah8106 Thank you for your comment. I don't have experience with lower-generation GPUs, so I have nothing to compare with directly. I've been using a MacBook Pro 2017 for a few years at work. However, due to my aspiration to work on 3D projects, I recently had the opportunity to build my dream PC about six months ago. The current 4090 GPU is incredibly powerful, but when it comes to rendering, the need for speed is always there. There can never be enough power! I'm eagerly waiting for the 5090 =)

      Thanks for your comment. It was probably the most complicated part due to the space limitations.
