All I see is a bunch of repair bills, from the entire thing breaking in a year or two. Also? Some of this stuff just seemed like a demo/wish that couldn't have possibly worked or happened back then. The control panel/TV is essentially an Echo Show or Google Home Hub, with recipies, reminders, viewing of the front door cameras and live-TV. Home Assistant shows my appliance status and starts my robo-vac. I'm sure Gates has all this stuff, but the middle class probably never will.

It would have been nice if the movie was more in focus and the color was better so we could actually see it was a color tv that a button controlled from the planning center. Well, the "Whirlpool Miracle Kitchen" sounds good and on the surface, looks very convenient to use. But with all those gadgets preparing many different meals, dispensing many different drinks and washing dishes etc... How much time is spent refilling, rotating out expired food and reprogramming it for different meals? Seems like they traded one convenience for a different drudgery. But I guess if someone could afford something like that back then, they could afford to pay someone to do it for them.
