I'm a semi novice biker. About to pick-up an entry level gravel bike. How are they able to go that fast?? Better gearing?

What a rubbish film, doesn’t show anything of the environment, just professional rides. Shame

I "raced" The Rift this year: maybe the hardest day on the bike ever (includes SBT Black 3x, multiple BWRs, others) - an absolute beat down. 8.5 hours in the saddle. AND at the same time I've never had more fun or been more inspired by the terrain, landscape and scenery. Truly one of a kind. Strongly recommend this as a bucket list adventure!

My favorite part is that participants get to relive the glory days of westward expansion, colonization, and genocide by signing up for the event as 'Settlers' or 'Pioneers.' Shame on Chad Sperry for years of ignoring and erasing indigenous history. It wasn't that many years ago that Chad and OTG perpetuated the narrative of indigenous folks as savages.

Goal setting is a good idea. For me setting small attainable goals is best. Why? It's so satisfying to achieve and exceed them. The important point is DON'T MOVE THE GOAL POST!! Just continue to exceed your goal. It's all about overall improvement 😊

A great series, but rather confusing… the video says its for everybody but all I see is a limited pro field? Will this expand into age categories in 2024 or open class? Or will this just remain very elite?
