    If you move the machine slower you can get a solid line in one pass with a round shader

    This is the situation I'm feeling right now, I'm trying to make japannese style with a lot of black, and right now my client's skin is swollen and oozing pus. I feel very guilty and don't know what to do, I'm just trying to give an infection ointment, will the skin go back to normal? And what will happen to the color? 😢😢

      Imagine it's summer and you just bought a fan for your room. The fan has 2 settings for speed : low and high. If you put it on low, the fan will spin at 200RPM (rotations per minute), and it will only use 50 Watts of power. If you put it on high, the fan will spin at 400RPM, but it will use 100 Watts of power (so your energy bill will be higher). In a tattooing context, the fan becomes the tattoo machine, the RPM becomes the Hz or CPS, and the Watts become Volts. V is how much power your machine is getting, Hz (Frequency) or CPS is how fast your machine is running, so when you increase the voltage you are also increasing the Hz. Does that make sense?

    Can you sketch with tattooing? What I mean is almost use like a pencil ,like making a circle , can just sketch rather than one continuous line. Obviously with the aim to get better so i can pull a full circle in one line.

    • @tattooartsunlocked
      @tattooartsunlocked 4 месяца назад

      No, because applying less pressure creates shallow lines that will not hold after the tattoo heals. If you want to create a tattoo that looks like a pencil sketch, you will need to prepare a design that looks like one, stencil it, then tattoo it like you would tattoo any other design. For example, if you want to tattoo a brush stroke, the machine can't create actual brush strokes, so you have to use an image of one, stencil it, then outline the shape and fill it in to make it look like an actual brush stroke.

    I know it differs, like you say, but what is the industry average on line work? I know it's a difficult question to ask as all differ, but there must be a Average. Just liked and subscribed your page ,great video 👍

    • @tattooartsunlocked
      @tattooartsunlocked 4 месяца назад

      I'm not entirely sure what you mean by industry average, but if you're asking if there's a specific technique, or approach, that absolutely everyone in the industry uses, then no, there isn't one.

    Can two photos be combined into one stencil? Also, can the stencil be made in any size? Small or large

      Yes, you can. You can do both using Photoshop, or other photo editing software.

      I personally run my machines at 70-100 Hz/CPS, depending on the area I'm tattooing, but it really comes down to your personal preference. Some people like higher speeds, while others prefer slower ones.

    I would hold the damn cartridge too long in the ink thinking I needed to suck up as much as possible so I could just lay my lines down uninterrupted, but I couldn’t get quality saturated lines, lots of clogging, mess.. etc. just a lil dip changed my life.
