रणथंभौर का किला
किले की विशेषता मंदिर, तालाब, विशाल द्वार और विशाल दीवारें हैं। 944 ई. में निर्मित, रणथंभौर किले ने कई घेराबंदी और युद्ध देखे हैं। संभवतः इनमें से सबसे प्रसिद्ध 1301 में दिल्ली के सुल्तान अलाउद्दीन खिलजी के खिलाफ राव हमीर का युद्ध है।रणथंभौर किले में जौहर करने वाली महिलाओं में हम्मीर देव चौहान की पत्नी रानी रंगदेवी और बेटी पद्मला के अलावा, किले की अन्य रानियां और वीर महिलाएं शामिल थीं: रानी रंगदेवी, पद्मला, किले की अन्य रानियां, किले की वीर महिलाएं.
