This was a solid film. The only challenge to my suspension of disbelief was the fact that only one operative was chasing her. If this had been a real scenario the government would have put out a national APB and enlisted the aid of every police officer and tactical squad in the country. The ending, however, was very good. It was a perfect lead in to a sequel that will probably never happen.

don't bvelieve the reviews, gave it a try and couldn't believe how bad every aspect of it was. then read the filmmakers were part of the critics community, so friends gave it strong scores. audience reviews are correct, it looks and feels like a shit student film

Watched the documentary last night. Absolutely disgusting what he did to not only Grace Millane, but the other tourist who he raped and his ex partner who he threatened to kill. He was sentenced to a minimum of 17 years in prison for murdering Grace and was given 11 more years for those other two offences, but instead of them being added onto his first jail term he gets to serve them concurrently. This man is a cold, remorseless killer who doesn't deserve to be released from prison. I am glad the Police caught him quickly so he can't harm any more women in the outside world.

Just saw this on Netflix with my wife and haven't blubbered like a baby over a show or movie before, as an adult anyway. I remember the news articles at the time and remember being shocked but didn't know the full story until viewing this very well made doco. I'm not going to say what I really think of that scumbag because if I do I'd probably be banned from youtube. You know those terrible things that you wouldn't wish on your own worst enemy? I wish all of them on him. My heart goes out to Grace's family and the other women this pos has violated. Please be careful folks, there are some sickos out there.

To Grace's family- I am so sorry what happened. This incident is such a lesson learnt, if you are on solo holiday, don't trust or make friends or date a local. She was beautiful and trusted him too easily. She did not deserve what happened to her. May her soul rest in peace
