0:00-0:20 Please allow me to talk about this time. This song is an anthem of praise to the King of Thailand. And every Thai television station was not just Channel 3 MCOT (at that time) because at that time Channel 3 was still under MCOT until 2020 until the concession expired. From the time the station is opened or closed on certain channels, a custom must be done before closing the station or opening the station, both television and radio. Every station should play the royal anthem, which is a tradition in our country. It is still seen today. But now Thai TV Channel 3 currently broadcasts the Royal Anthem at approximately 4:30 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. in Japan, which owns the RUclips channel.

I have conclusion about this recording. General: In Vietnam, frequency band 54-68 MHz is used for commune-level stations. These transmitters have low power, around 10 to 30 watts (some case use 50 watts). *Note #1: The commune-level stations normally relays upper-level station (in this case, this station is relaying province-level station, Nghệ An FM). The exact identification on 2:27 is "Quý vị và các bạn đang nghe chương trình thời sự chiều của Đài phát thanh truyền hình Nghệ An trên sóng FM tần số 99,6 MHz. Tiếp tục chương trình là các thông tin quan trọng khác […]" At the time you receive this signal (Sunday, 17.48-17.59 Vietnamese time), there's no district-level station program. *Note #2: Some district-level stations in Nghệ An province normally broadcasts from 17.15 to 17.30 Vietnamese time, from Monday to Saturday. In Sunday, only Nghệ An FM is heard. District-level is upper-level to the commune-level. 8:05 - the voiceover is “Phần tin quốc tế” (world news). After I checked the official list from 2020, 56.4 MHz listed 3 stations that use this frequency: • Nghi Khánh commune, Nghi Lộc district; • Hòa Hiếu ward, Nghi Hòa (district-level) town; • Thanh Văn commune, Thanh Chương district (as of location in Japan can't reach stations from mountainous area easily, this case is excluded) Because there's no district-level station program broadcasted to define, so the exact transmitter isn't found. Some informations may incorrect or missing, sorry about that. I've tried the best I can.

Audio is from Radio Nghệ An. It could only be some local FM station relaying the station, since around 2:32 you can hear the presenter saying the station's frequency; 99.6 MHz. Any frequency below 87.5 is restricted to only ward/military transmitters. If that's the case then this might be one of the best FM receptions you could ever have, since most of the FM transmitters boardcasting on those frequencies are running on very low power of less than 1 KW.

How does the audio on your tv dx videos sound so clear compared to the audio only recordings?

The difference is in the recording device and volume settings. Audio recorded with a VCR has slightly poorer sound quality and the volume setting is not appropriate.

Thank you for listening. The audio in this video is in poor condition, but there are other Thai TV audio recordings that are much clearer.

Do you have anything from Yugoslavia? / ユーゴスラビアから何かありますか?

During the time of analog TV broadcasting, there was a possibility of receiving French, British, Irish, and Italian TV using 40-60 MHz via F2 layer propagation in Japan, but I could not receive any TV signals from Europe. My long-distance receiving friend succeeded in receiving French TF1. Yugoslavian TV would have been impossible to receive in Japan due to its high frequency.

@@konsudxchannelFrench TV would have been audio on 41.25MHz from their old 819 line system that closed around 1983.BBC was on 41.5MHz with their 405 system audio, closed early 1985. Glenn Hauser received these In Thailand many years ago.

@@HughTVDX Hello. My DX fellow received French Channel F2 Audio 41.270 MHz in Japan in October 1981. His tape recording went to a French DXer via me, who took it to TF1 (Télévision française 1) when he returned to France and confirmed that the received audio was TF1.

@@konsudxchannel The 3 main transmitters on French Channel 2 were Caen on the North Coast, Limoges in the centre and Ajaccio on the island of Corsica. Ajaccio was the one Glenn Hauser received in Thailand as they were transmitting local news at the time of his reception. I don't know now where one could find the transmitter frequency offset listing as it was +20 KHz at 41.27 MHz.. Quite likely it was Ajaccio though as the furthest South transmitter.
