Note: this is the second post of this video. Apparently when I filtered out the background noise from traffic the sync of audio and video were altered. I couldn't figure out how to fix both the background noise and the sync problem, so this is the correct syncing of audio and video but with the background noise. I figure it's less of a bother than the sync issue. After driving through Utah and ...

Perfect choice to accompany your Colorado travels! A classic troubadour type song. Love the use of your falsetto in the tags. Good job, Kim!
Somehow never heard this song. Captures the experience!
Wow! Hard to believe. John Denver was part of the soundtrack of my high school years.
Nice!
Great stringing tks for posting
Thanks!
Beautiful! Another song where your range captures the song perfectly. Never knew Young didn't write this song. ❤
"Many people thought this was a Neil Young song when they heard it, and many rock critics pointed out the similarities. In a strange twist, "A Horse With No Name" replaced Young's "Heart of Gold" at #1 in the US. Dewey Bunnell explained that he was well aware that he sounded like Neil Young on this song, but claimed he wasn't trying to imitate the singer. He told Rolling Stone in 1973: "I try to use a different voice so that I won't be branded as a rip-off. It's such a drag, though, to have to not sound like someone when you can't help it in the first place."" www.songfacts.com/facts/america/a-horse-with-no-name
There's s big abandoned house in Chiloé that My wife and I called "Hotel California" after the song. It looks like an abandoned hotel. Every time we drive by the side of it, we try to sing this memorable song. Next time I will hear your version of the song. It fits perfectly.
That's very cool. Thanks!
nice version
Thank you!
Thank you!
Great job, Kim. I love how you chose a key to take advantage of your alto vocal register. It really works well with the nature of this song. I also love how you "rock out" at the end!! Keep up the good work!

Iʻm so very honored that you chose to sing one of my songs, Kim, and that you included me in your short list of women who inspire you. I am EQUALLY inspired by you!!! Traveling the world, diving into dozens of cultures over the last few years, and even taking on foreign languages ... so VERY inspiring and impressive. You did a beautiful job singing my composition about the sad fate of two Hawaiian sisters who were turned to stone. BRAVO!!
