I am a fan of recreating in the wilderness.
A Yellowstone Ski Journey: 17 days winter camping in the wilderness
We set out in the footsteps of legends. John Colter and Osborne Russell traversed this wilderness long before we had the opportunity with far more primitive gear then we had. We traversed Yellowstone National Park from north to south through the most remote mountains in the lower 48 states. We set out with 18 days worth of food ready for adventure. We had a variety of weather, wildlife, and views. It was a trip of epic proportions, always testing us, but we prevailed. We skied around 125 miles over 17 days across Yellowstone Lake through the Thorofare to Togwotee Pass!

21 Day Grand Canyon Raft Trip
Просмотров 13 тыс.3 года назад
My first time rafting the Grand Canyon will be unforgettable. It was quite the adventure at times, but we all managed to stay upright all the way to Pearce Ferry! We rowed 282ish miles of the Colorado River through the spectacular Grand Canyon over the course of 21 days! Special Thanks to the TL and the awesome group of people I got to know along the way. It really is a team effort especially w...
Tip on pulks. Cross the pipe to opposing sides and it will track better on downhills Those sunny calm days bring out the best of winter in the backcountry.
great video man! im headed out in a couple days. did you just use a sticky gopro mount on the PVC? any tips?
Awesome What month did you do this?
Thanks! This was in the month of March
Wow, what an adventure! So awesome you had the energy to document things on the camera. Thanks for taking us with you all! I can't believe the weather you had. What was the average low temp?
Glad you liked it! When we were crossing the lake it was around 0 F at night
Did you use full width skins the whole trip, or did you use skinny race skins for the flat days?
I was on my Rossignol touring setup the whole time
Did you see much wildlife? I’m going to snowshoe the grand loop of Yellowstone next month and I really hope to see some wolves and bison
We saw lots of Bison and Wolves. Lots of wolves when we were crossing Hayden Valley and heard them that night.
At least there's no mosquitoes, no grizzlies and no tourists. With a buddy I've done 4 much smaller trips, Mt Bachelor area, 2 in Colorado by RMNP and one in Alaska. That one was the coldest.
Amazing trip in true wilderness! If you did it again, would you stick with a touring setup or would you consider doing cross crountry skis?
Touring setup for sure. There were some big climbs near the end of the trip
I thoroughly enjoyed this, one of the coolest Yellowstone videos I've come across in quite a while. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad you liked it!
I launch October 25th, 2022 for my first trip. So stoked! When did you launch?
Nice line at Hance! You actually made the move into the duck pond
Awesome video man! I haven't done any backpacking camping yet but I want too so bad! I just got into truck camping. I built a camper on my f350 that me and my pup travel out of! You'll have to check it out on my channel! Keep up with the amazing content!
Very Cool Buddy! Nice look at what you have fallen so in love with! Happy for ya man!!

Good video, it brought back a lot of memories. We all drive the groover boat at some point! You had me a little concerned at the top of Lava but recovered nicely. One thing, I don't remember "Indian Dick Rapids" from my guiding days 😜
Super clean lines, and I think you need to double down on the soundtrack. Needs moar dobro. Very nicely done, thanks for sharing.
Can you post another video of this without the music?
Put it on mute then bud
Awesome video, I launch Friday
Great trip. Thanks for taking the time to put the video together. W
What time of year did go?

In between 7k and 14k. Great flows!
Now I need to show you the joy of fishing from the boat! Let’s do some trips this summer. Weekend or two on the Yellowstone??
