Worst way you could train for that. Treadmills are already much different than normal running because you lift your leg and pull it forward instead of digging it down and pushing off of it and here that difference is very impactful because not only is the person training to push themselves in a run but also to push the item on the ground.
How would you train it better?

@@TheGR8Vibe actually pushing the weight. Doing weighted sled sprints on grass/turf. Doing power off treadmill pushes. Tons of actual exercises.
