John Landis, the director, were present at the live recording of Aretha Franklin at New Temple Missionary Church, about 1969 and remake in Blues Brothers the same scene with the same song. Here there were James Brown and others (in some frames you can see Diana Ross, Grover Washington Jr and Donna Summer in the choir). Blues Brothers still remain one of my favourite picture.

Mr Brown understood raised in the Bible belt all star studded movie this was not new to them.they had it they understood where blessings came from😊😊
