I got my cartilage done at Claire’s a couple weeks ago and it’s doing great! But since I got it done at Claire’s and not at a piercing place how do I change it out when it’s ready? Do I do it myself? That’s my main question.

I got my in late May 1999. It was my sister that she has her redone and she paid for mine cartridge piercing. I was a little bit nervous to get it. It was painful gun piercing. It was about the same as pain level as getting one of those piercing holes from an industrial piercing. I gotten a second one next to the first one. That one didn’t hurt at all. It was liked butter with the needle. I got it done late July 2021 on the left ear,too. I have my industrial piercing since late September 2019. Even both ears with a conch piercing. One was 2 years ago and the other was done on May 10th,2022. One was more pressure and the other one was a little bit of pain. I even had both lobes pierced 3 times during the 90’s. Those were done by a gun. Claire’s was cheapest with piercings back then. Even in 1994 and 95 it was under a different name. The store was called Afterthoughts and I noticed Claire’s on the jewelry for earrings. I started a little bit late for me. In my teens that I never thought of getting my ears pierced. I was 24 years old on getting my 1st piercings on my lobes in August 1994. Right now that I have 6 piercings on both of my ears. I’m a pretty cool 53 year old gal. I do looked young for my age,too.

I got my helix pierced today and it hurt but cute in the end!

Never get it with a gun y’all were lucky ppl have gotten their helix done went bad go to a tattoo place 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I just got my cartilage pierced yesterday at Claire’s and now I’m freaking out reading all the negative things about getting it done there. I want to take it out now and just let the hole heal up. Can anyone tell me if it would be too soon to take it out and let it heal??? 😭😭

people always say you shouldn’t get both sides done on the same day because both sides will hurt but idc lol😭 the piercings look so good!! can’t wait to get mine too :)

I got mine done in august, bad idea. I got a keloid. Don’t ever get piercings with a gun, except lobes, those are fine. Claire’s is not even really qualified for piercings.

What size gauge does Claire’s use for cartilage?

some people have to be carful with what type of ear rings they get cause they can get infected really easily. i can’t have cheap metals in my ears

Got mine done today. Got two in the same ear on my cartilage. They are only supposed to do one per ear but the girl Who did it said she would do it for me (: but it didn’t hurt at all. The top one hurt more but the one below didn’t at all

6 days in and i got a fucking infection, i also did it at claire's i think putting on my headset and gaming is what did it- so yeah don't fucking do what i did

I had my cartilage pierced by a gun two weeks ago and it’s healed just fine PS I know two weeks is a little bit but that is what the professional piercer said to do

Also, you can just use saline solution. Much cheaper
