I am Indian I like Pakistani drama They are good artists, don't have vulgarity, They reflect Indian culture like Middle class girls earning their money but in Indian TV girl is very poor and married to tich man. She goes to kitchen with heavy jewellers but Pakistani girls are wearing simple clothes. Pakistani actress are not shown as God, they are doing mistakes but Indian heroine is portrayed as Goddess. Indian serial are false ceiling and Pakistani serial are real one.

Let me be blunt: forget about their actors/actresses, even most of their young Coke studio singers are better looking than Bolly actors/actresses. Commenting on the above subject, Maybe because the Indian drama stories are far from reality. But at the same time they show some realistic scenes as well. For example when a boy falls in love with a girl he wishes to hug her, kiss her, Indian medea will not stop him doing that. Similarly at times the girl has the the urge to hug her lover, In India she'll do it. In Pakistan social taboos will never let this happen on the TV screen. In India sometimes the couples are shown sleeping together keeping decency, kissing while in bed. In Pakistan if this happens the girl probably will not be allowed to go back home. All in all there are good and bad points in both. Why are Pakistani dramas so popularly in India. Well one reason is that the duration of the whole serial is mostly short. story is very close to reality. The dialogues are very well written. The lighting system is superb. The diection is of highest quality. All these may be because the Pakistani core crew are highly trained. Most of them are degree holders from abroad

First of all jo yha appreciate kr rhe hai sabko pata hai kyu kar rhe hai 😏 indian serials ka trp kam hota hai generally kyuki youth ko tv dekhne ka time nhi hai aur na hi interest, they mostly watch ott platform shows & movies online whenever they get time & indian serials ki target audience mostly youth nhi hoti , ghar ke aurte ya retired log hote hai jinke pas free time, ho islie they mske it so dramatic & sabse bada reason hai ki boht lamba kicha jata hai which is why audience after a time loose interest, they should focus on youth centric shows rather than making saas bahu drama only, me being a youth has hardly got time to follow serials regularly, specially when they're not made for us , but still there are some shows which were good & made on youth aur lambi nhi chali which I watched on online platforms which i liked becoz they were targeted for youth audience mahabharat, dosti yariyan manmarziya, kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi (season 1), patiala babes , tarak mehta (which was a brilliant comedy show catering to all over india & youth as well) but ab boring ho chuka hai kyuki lamba khich diya hai & indian youth mostly watch other countries show turkish, russian, american etc , specially 'FRIENDS' is tooo popular here among girls , idk every other girl here loves friends

From Pakistan and there were a few Indian dramas that I loved as a child: hum panch , tehqeeqat, amma and family( starring the late Zohra sehgal) . Those were awesome dramas. Then these weird dramas started airing called saas bhi bahu or something, Kum kum . Didn’t see any of that nonsense which I think destroyed the Indian drama industry

Indians especially the youth don't watch dramas at all. They watch either movies or web series. I haven't met an Indian who watches tv dramas. Don't understand who would have the time to watch dramas that too pakistani dramas? I think indians from the muslim community must've been watching Pakistani dramas as there are hardly any Indian movie, web series of tv serials which portray muslim culture. So they might get interested in watching Pakistani dramas as they can see their culture in them. Not their fault really, if their own country doesn't produce content which they can relate with, then they will surely consume anything that they can connect with. Indian muslims even watch Turkish content as they kind of relate with those especially north indian muslims. Indian entertainment industry especially the movie industry is trying to compete with Hollywood avengers type of movies while the tv industry is non relevant. Nobody is interested in tv dramas. They are too long and mostly romantic.
