Well..We had a Big Thunderstorm go over Park Rapids. Storm blew in at 70 mph the Trees were moving all different directions, Ton's of Thunder/Lightning. But the weird thing was the Clouds were moving fast to the NE towards Bemidji and then they turned and came from the NW...

Update: These predictions are an understatement. The Saturday after this video was posted, a powerful storm ripped through the Dakotas. 80 mph winds uprooted trees and wreaked havoc. Naturally, being the Dakotas, this video is the closest thing I could find to anyone outside the area mentioning it.

In Park Rapids we've been having a lot of Windy weather in June.. yesterday we had a quick storm roll on thru w hail.. Duluth was supposed to get Apple-sized Hail and 70 mph winds 🦋

This is why i can never make plans to travel to an eclipse. You can't be sure you'll be able to see it.

We were in TN for the 2017 totality and it doesn't quite get dark as night. More like a weird late dusk, but it DOES get very quiet! We could hear the cows losing across the road and then some. Super cool! Can't wait for this one next week.

Anyone know of a brick and mortar store to buy solar eclipse glasses. I don’t want to make my own FYI.

The 14.3 inch seasonal total snowfall so far in the Twin Cities, MN is normal for St. Louis. It's like replacing the Spoonbridge and Cherry with the Gateway Arch.

Let's hope for a wet spring for all the places that need moisture. At the moment, I'm expecting a nasty smoke season. I'm glad that I have DIY air purifiers and plenty of 3M Aura masks.
