Coal comes from the west coast to the port of Lyttelton and the the wagons go back empty
All of the cars look to be the same. What is being hauled? Tia
So in each wagon is coal from the West Coast which then gets taken to Lyttleton Port of Christchurch to be shipped away

That was Special Coal Train X58 i got that at Carmen Road with a Crossover with Train 951. God it was raining and i got soaked.
I was thinking of seeing it but couldnt be bothered too mate...

yes with the bankers and I think possibly two locomotives to pick up the rest of 850's rake

I think it was just 849 on this train but actually unsure

@@RollestonRails did a mini chase up to Springfield today but couldn't find any perfect spots to pull into to get it as it slows down heaps at crossings, will probably go up to Cass and get it next time it's down
