I installed a schock absorbing bike seat post, available online. I then put a super plush seat and now enjoy the smooth soft ride. Well worth the $75 upgrade!!
Please share the links.....i'v been looking for a more comfortable seat.

Mine doesn’t turn correctly sometimes
The biggest problem with these vehicles is the solid rear axle with positive traction to both wheels. It makes steering a nightmare. Cut the rear axle, use two flange bearings bolted together with spacers to hold the axle halves in place while letting them spin independently, and you'll actually be able to steer it.
How to fix this electric trike 800 watts it won't work the lights come on but it doesn't move but every thing seems to be in place so what do I do now
It may be the brake safety kill switch. Open the box on the front and unplug the wire marked brake.
Do you know we’re I can find a new hood or parts ? For ppv I’m restoring one .
Have you found the Facebook group?…you can post on there what parts you need. Brand new hoods were available in Texas at International Surrey Company…I have a windshield available to sale

I have a 2 rider as well. I see you have 2 batteries. do you have an A-B switch? If so which one and how did you hook it up. I have quite a few mods on mine including a folding convertible top, lighting, drum brakes on the front and more... I can share.
Jim thanks for the interest. The second battery is on a docking station not hooked up to the battery in use. I have sold this bike. I’ve only heard of one other 2Rider in the states in Colorado if I remember correctly.
@@coolbicyclesquadicyclestri814 That's actually a good idea. just a dummy bracket to hold it and switch out when needed. Sorry to hear you sold your 2-Rider. I've had fun modding it. I really want to make it a fat tire version...

I owned a 4W4P RHOADESCAR with canopy back in the mid 90's early 2k's. Loved that thing. Sadly destroyed by a building falling on it during a storm. Actually bought it from David, he was still alive and took my order over the phone. My dad has a 1 passenger knock off version sitting here at my house, but it needs work and I haven't had time to get to it.

That thing has been in storage forever! Few of them look this good. The components were really cheap, it could be a much better ride with decent wheels and fatter tires and bearings for the pedal cranks but collectors usually like original condition.

They're all over ebay for around $950, new & delivered! That's for the 800w. The 500w & 350w are cheaper. How fast do you need to go? Many hills?

This has been sold…Pacific Cycles no longer makes them. They are very rare in the US. You may be able to find a used one somewhere.

We'd also like to make one but don't know how.
I can put an electric motor on a three or two wheel bike and drive it legally if it is no faster than 20 mph. But with four wheels it's not a bike and is allowed to go no faster than 15mph.

The Rhoades Car is the most affordable. Some of the cons are weight of the bike and brakes with the the batteries and the riders. With that much weight you just need to be careful going down big hills. Not a big deal if you are aware. You can find them on Facebook Marketplace for sale.

i have test drove one of these before, although they have a three speed you can't go very fast as they are very heavy, going up a large hill is almost impossible . They look sporty and nice , but that's about it , from what consumers report said the front brake wasn't very good either, plus it sets very low . The pedals to me didn't work all that great, would have been better to have had a regular bicycle type pedals . but couldn't use them because the wheel well, being so shallow .
