These guys are awesome. I first I got to know them in a promo tape that came with Evanescence's debut album....it featured two-song 30 second previews of Chevelle, Boy Sets Fire and 12 stones featuring Broken and The way I feel. I'll never forget that, they were all very cool songs. But the very first time I might have heard them would've been shortly before that... on WWF Judgment day 2002 ......of course I didn't know what band it was at the time. it was so badass seeing those promos of Chris Jericho vs Triple H - Hell in a Cell with Broken playing. That was around the time I also discovered Mudvayne, Slipknot and Soulfly.

Eric Weaver is too talented for this band. I saw them a bunch of years ago at Moline Iowa when they opened for Creed and I remember the whole crowd barely clapped when they were introduced and not knowing who they were but they got a standing ovation by the end of their set. People liked them...... The guitar skills were impressive and people responded........ I'm not a big Creed fan but Mark Tremonti is awesome on guitar and was the reason I was watching the show. Not into the Christian rock nonsense these guys swim in either, I just like good rock music with talent. I thought these guys would be bigger than they ended up but they limitations of Christian rock is probably most of the reason why it didn't happen more for them. I see he's no longer playing PRS either, shame...... I still blast the original self-titled 12 Stones CD from time to time, which is somewhere in my house autographed by the band which happened after that show. Eric is a very good guitar player though. Honestly the only reason I still blast the CD from time to time. Favorite song in the album is the last track titled Erics Song which apparently they let him cut loose on. Real good guitar skills on display there.
