Idk if it's intentional but I really love that the His World motif is far more heroic in this than in Subterfuge. Cause between someone as delusional as 2017X and a genocidal entity who aims to completely eradicate the world, "Sonic" would probably end up having to actually play the hero. Kinda gives me Deadringer vibes in that way too.

I genuinely really love this song, amazing work. But as a calamity mod fan, I have to ask: Is the melody around 0:05 (and other parts of the song) supposed to be a reference to the devourer of gods theme? Either way, it makes the song so much better to me. Again, fantastic work on this, you did an incredible job.
never finished calamity myself or got really far, so if it is, it's probably a coincidence LOL, i usually hum the melodies myself then transpose them, i never heard it anywhere really so if you think that it being a reference is what makes you enjoy it more then hold onto that belief !!
