When I saw this, I was like, "Is that Tommy Davidson or Varnel Hill?" LOL. I knew it had to be Tommy Davidson cause Varnel would've called for Snookie to "do work" and get him to the limousine! 😅😅😅 This was nice to see. He's one of the best multitasking actors in Hollywood.
LOL for real! Tommy is an absolute legend, thx for watching!

Tommy Davidson classic dude!
A legend! Thanks for watching!
This was very helpful and to the point but having you screen maximize would have helped more. I’m watching on an iPhone and it’s difficult to see what you’re doing.
Thank you for that feedback, I will make sure my videos are viewable on mobile devices from now on. Thanks for watching!
Zoom needs to rethink their headphone issue ! They record better than the headphone details ! I wish for a new headphone amp !
Studio grade headphone output would be appreciated !
appreciate u sharing. 🙏 this is the best video that really gets the point across.shockingly easiest and shortest video as well. i went through a bunch that just wasnt hitting the problem i was trying to solve. thank u again
Never had an issue with headphone volume. Might be the ohms on your headphones.
David Kashner You guys must be the only ones,. I’m sure Zoom didn’t include the digital gain boost in the new firmware for no reason.
@@theworksfilms They're not the only ones who don't see an issue. :) Count me as one of the many (and I know at least a dozen other F4 users as well), who did not have an issue with their headphone volume output. This whole thing started (as near as I can figure), when Curtis Judd reviewed the F4 and said that it was not as loud as the MixPre units, but again even for him it was not a "deal breaker". That started a bit of an avalanche of complaints and Zoom, being sensitive to pretty much any negative press, added to the V.3.00 firmware this ability to add some more digital gain to their headphones. The F4 has always been an impressive bit of kit! I wonder how many people also noticed that in that same video of Curtis', that he mentions that the limiters are not very good because they are digital and not analog, and the man was right in his observations at the time. No surprise, Zoom creates the F6 that uses a 32bit file, completely eliminating the need for input volume knobs, and also removed any need for limiters anywhere, and step 2, since they cannot add analog limiters to the F4 and F8, they added "Look-Ahead Hybrid Limiters" via software, which pretty much resolve that complaint of potential clipping for all but the biggest volume increases and again, pretty much eliminates or at thee very least, drastically reduces the chances of clipping occurring. I've used my F4 a good amount and can honestly say that I never had an issue with the headphone volume, and via intelligent use of additional headroom, never have seen the F4 record anything over -12db on it's meters. I am very satisfied with it as is... but the addition of the ability to record at 48khz while using the audio interface at the same time, is definitely a NICE touch amongst all the other improvements! :)
what is the compressor called?
lorna maria Hi! The application used to do the compression is called Apple Compressor. Thx!
Interesting. I never had an issue with the headphone volume. Has always been plenty loud enough with gain to spare.
This was really helpful. Thank you!
