I’m not sure where this train was coming from I randomly saw it sitting at 103rd Street on the express track and decided to wait for it where it turned back north onto the 2/3 tracks past 96th. Taken September, 18th 2024 Seen here in this video is a Kawasaki R188/R188 Converted Testing at Burke Avenue. It was weird seeing this randomly testing along the WPR (White Plains Road) Line, I’m not sure what sort of test was being done with the train but it was going back and forth on the express track. Because of the 2023 MTA Bus Roadeo going on, West Farms (WF) Depot was doing the Bx12 shuttle from Pelham Bay Park to the location of the bus roadeo which was near City Island and Orchard Beach. Recently, SBS XN60s have been appearing more on the Bx19 since West Farms (WF) are still usually short on buses so that's why you'll see some C40 and XN40s on articulated routes or SBS XN60 on other routes besides the Bx6 selectbusservice. From what it looks like 240th Street Yard is short on equipment so right now they have 1986-1990 which is a Bombardier R62A from Westchester Yard and 1600-1596/1495-1491 which is a Kawasaki R62 from Livonia Yard.
