That's actually the more accurate way of writing his name in English, but the earliest translations wrote his name as Syobai, and it just stuck.

Your voice is really cool/pos!! 💜 If you'd like *spoiler free* tips about the ftes then look below!!: To do ALL of the free time events (without needing to rest at all) get Yoruko and Hajime's daily life skills ASAP (you get a skill at their second and final fte so for example you hang out with Hajime 2x to get his Daily skill then go to Yoruko). Some characters have low intimacy levels, at this moment it's only Syobai and Kokoro (they're stingy 🙄 so you need to waste ftes giving them gifts they love to even START their first fte..). The majority of characters should be fine to hang out with even if you don't give them a gift, just be mindful of those two.

Real unfortunate that ending, you barely got to learn yet! Did you happen to select Midi instead of Wav on the BGM settings intentionally by the way? I figured I ask in case, but maybe you just wanted to save a little processing power, hence that crash supposedly

"oh hey this is homing" picks the shot type that is not only not homing, it is the least beginner friendly shot type in the game (it follows your movement) so anyway, here's how to install the damn English translation 1. Download the archive via link available from its official site (Touhou Patch Center) 2. Extract the archive to folder that's located in its own folder, but conveniently close to the games 3. Launch thcrap executable to start the thing 4. Click next, you get to pick the language. It should default to whatever your OS language is, unless by some chance there's absolutely no translation in that language (and given how many languages Touhou 6 was translated to, you'd have to be speaking some uncommon language). English language pack should be below it anyway. 5. Click next and pick SPECIFICALLY "find games in a specific folder" so that you can tell it what folder to look through. It's probably the most consistent method to find games, the other two feel hit and miss. When it finds the games, make sure they're checkmarked in the window above. 6. After that, click next and pick shortcuts to create (I just use "in the thcrap folder" as it's the most convenient for me) 7. Use the shortcut provided to launch the game with translation. anyway uhhh for the actual game red P - power blue thing - gives score and increases the Point value on right (which gives you extra lives) pink square - the funny shield (it's not the only source, but it's the fastest one) hot tip: hold shift to actually be able to dodge also pls use bombs, they are your 'get out of jail for free' cards and trust me, they increase your longevity by like 999%. not using bombs is basically shooting yourself in the foot
