I enjoy these talks on the book of Kings. Revealing about throwing cloaks at the feet was an act of fealty to a King. Jesus did throw down a gauntlet to both the High Priest and to Pontius Pilatus. He must have known, precisely, the inevitable outcome. Crucifixion for rebellion against Roman power. Palm Sunday leads inevitably to Good Friday.
