mainly ww2, for 20mm/1/72 but I've at least come up with "house rules" for most periods we game in our group. (Napoleonic,other horse & musket,ancient and warhammer 40k too. we' be played them all. It's good to take ideas or sections of the rules YOU personally enjoy; and mixing with other sets or rules you've come up with. It's a very personal and imaginative hobby and it's usually more fun to play rules/games that fit with your personal styles and tastes keep up the great work

I've been wargaming miniatures since I was in 6th grade (I'm 40now) and been writing my own rules as well as playing commercially produced rules as well. you may benefit from checking out some of Donald Featherstone and Terry Wise works. good luck,keep gaming/writing

Another platoon is a good choice for a footslogger army. You need a platoon command squad for each platoon so it looks like you need another command squad box to act as your HQ too. After that invest in some artillery. Either 2 Wyverns or 2 Basilisks.

Looking good, buddy! I always prefer to go back and re-do a model's basecoats, rather than continue knowing that I might change it later. I have no complaints about your speed, either, as my project didn't really kick off until around week 2 hahaha!

The rulebook was also more expensive that the dark vengeance starter set that I found at the time; and I didn't care about the fluff so I got the set. I figured that the mini rulebook would be more handy, and I get some cool models! Btw, I was filming on my ipod, so the skin looked better before it was blown up.

Just so you guys know, those four non-basic lands that I showed in the video were the only lands in my deck (in order to comply with the rules), even though I said that I had a lot. Btw: The last enchantment that I mentioned about taking opponents creatures in called Grave Betrayal.

I've also got those Wargame Factory stormtrooper guys, and I absolutely love em, you're totally right, they make a great, cheap alternative and can definitely be painted up as Kriegsmen!
