He paced along the shoreline with long strides, stopping momentarily, watching the waves folding and unfolding like concertina paper. This was his place to gather inspiration for his creative student class subject topic. The cool breeze swept his hair back, bringing sand along into his eyes, and he attempted to wash his eyes in the ocean. His gaze was drawn deeper into the water, like a vortex an image of the city of Oasis flashed into his minds eye. Hurriedly racing out of the ocean, his lower form covered in sand, he started to scribble this idea into his creative journal. What would the city of Oasis look like? The structural form? Would it be abandoned? Was it a mysterious/mystical place? A futuristic or technological city? One after another, ideas poured in. This was going to excite his students, an interesting concept that would be challenging for them. The students indeed took up the challenge, split into two groups they were to create an image of the conceptual city, feeling into every spectrum of visualisation. One of the groups created the artwork seen in the image, it went on to win an award and now hangs in a futuristic section of an art gallery. ☀ 🧡
