    Because the nation state is the norm now, it's difficult to appreciate that it wasn't Britain that went to war in WW1 and WW2, but the British Empire. A very different animal. When talking about the time around the Battle Of Britain it's commonly said Britain stood alone. In truth that was very far from the case. If you look at Empire outposts like Gibralta, Malta, Cypress, Egypt, Aden, South Africa etc the one thing many have in common is that they were on the route to India. The decisions about them were made in India, not London. At one point early in the war, when Britain was in danger of invasion, tanks were shipped out from Britain to Egypt because protecting that route was so important. There were also contributions from Africa and the Caribbean that are not so well know. For instance, I wonder how many people know there were black Spitfire pilots and bomber crews. Or know about the Caribbean contribution to shipping the oil from Venezuela up to join convoys from North America. Whilst France was occupied, or Vichy, many of the Free French were actually from West Africa, Algeria, and Sengal for instance. Senegalese fought in both wars. Algerians fought in the WW2 Italy campaign.

    Fear is unreasonable scare, as opposed to awe, being wonder struck. We need to consider the context. Why would one fear oneself if we accept the oneness?

    • @endeavour1349
      @endeavour1349 3 дня назад

      Guru Nanak was not fearful. Only thing one “fears is the emergence of wall of delusion, the ego. Even that after realization one is over awed by its very misleading capacity. There is no scaring anyone into believing anything.

    Why WwI is hated in India because UKs treachery. UK had promised to Gandhiji if india help in war effort it would look into India s demand for self rule. But after war they did not do any thing of that sort. On the contrary British killed mercilessly indians in Jalianwala bag mesacre. From that episode India decided to throw the yoke of british empire.

    आपके पांच प्यारे में से भी एक हमारे पुरी में से है। जगन्नाथ जगत के नाथ है गुरु नानक देव जी जब जगन्नाथ पुरी आए तो वह भी ये बात मानने के लिए मजबूरहो गए।

    ओड़िआ पुराना में भी इसका लेख है कि गुरु नानक देव जगन्नाथ मंदिर पैदल उनके साथियों के साथ आए थे जिसमें से एक मुसलमान उनके अनुयाई था। गुरु नानक देव ठक्कर वहां मंदिर के पास बैठ गए और कुछ खाने को लाने के लिए बोला उनके भक्त जो कि मुसलमान था मंदिर में गया इसको मुसलमान होने के कारण मंदिर में घुसने नहीं दिया गया तो गुरु नानक जी क्रोधित हो गए और कहा कि अगर तुम सच में परम ब्रह्म हो तो मैं अंदर नहीं जाऊंगा तुम मुझसे मिलने आओ अगर तुम परम ब्रह्म हो तो मेरी बात सुनोगे। तभी आरती के दौरान जगन्नाथ जी की मूर्ति को बाहर लाया गया तो फिर गुरु नानक देव जी मान गए कि यह परम ब्रह्म ही है। मेरी बोली का मन रखने के लिए भगवान स्वयं चले आए।

    The strength of any religion revealations will depend s on what they talk on SOUNDS OR SHABAD, how deep they went within to understand SOUNDS. some experts on sikhi should touch as deep as possible.. the punch 5 shabad or SOUNDS, what so special bout this sounds and what their properties are??? Some experts in sikhi should talk deeply on this, it helps our younger generation to understand more bout sikhism The Holy Spirit is also spoken in christianity.. the SOUNDS that the spirit listens or hears at various levels of creation.. but full revealations on this not there in christianity.. In islam they talked bout their 100th Names, this are sounds related that are unspoken n unwritten.. but full revealations also not there..

    Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the essence of the pinnacle of Indian spirituality and philosophy of the past 3500 years. It is a collection of 500 years of writings of spiritual masters from 1175 AD Bhagat Jaydev Ji, a Brahmin to 1675 AD Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the central religious scripture of Sikhism, which is believed to be the last sovereign Guru of Sikhism. It has 1430 pages containing 5,894 hymns of 36 sages including the Sikh Guru Sahib (6 Gurus), Bhagat (15 Bhagats). ), Bhatts (11 Bhatts) and Gursikhs (4 Gursikhs). It is notable among foundational religious texts for including hymns from authors of other religions, namely Hindus and Muslims. It also contains the teachings of the Sikh Gurus themselves. Classification of writers Scholars classify the authors of the Guru Granth Sahib into four groups: sikh guru devotees Bhatt Gursikh sikh guru Main article: Sikh Guru Philosophically, Sikhs are bound to believe in the words of the Guru - the words wrbitten in the Guru Granth Sahib Ji - but the general belief is that Sikh gurus established Sikhism over the centuries, beginning in 1469. The hymns of the six Sikh Gurus are contained in the Guru Granth Sahib: Guru Nanak Dev ji Guru Angad Dev Ji Guru Amar Das Ji Guru Ram Das Ji Guru Arjan Dev Ji Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji devotees In the list below, bhagats (Punjabi: भागत, from Sanskrit भक्त) were holy men of various sects whose teachings are included in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. His bani [clarification needed] comes under the heading of bani bhagatan. The word "bhagat" means devotee, and comes from the Sanskrit word bhakti, which means devotion and love. The Bhagats developed a belief in one God which was preceded by Kabir's selection of the great Hindu Bhakti and writings of the Sufi saints. 15 Bhagat was the author of: Bhagat Kabir Bhagat Ravidas Bhagat Farid Bhagat Ramanand Bhagat Beni Bhagat Namdev Bhagat Sadhana devotee begging Bhagat Parmanand Bhagat San Bhagat Dhanna Bhagat Pipa Bhagat Surdas Bhagat Jaidev Bhagat Trilochan Bhatt Many Hindu Saraswat Brahmins who started following the word of Guru Nanak Dev were known as Bhatt, which means charan. 11 Bhatt was the author of : Bhatt Kalshar bhatt balh भाट भाल Bhatt Bhika Bhatt Gayand Bhatt Harbans Bhatt Jalap Bhatt Kirat Bhatt Mathura Bhatt Nalh Bhatt Salh Gursikh Bhai Sundar ji, Bhai Mardana ji, Bhai Satta ji, Bhai Balvand ji.
