John deere tractor best for farming ❤❤❤
Literally using this setup in farm simulator right now! 😂 that’s what brought me here!
Nice job I’m using a similar setup on farming simulator 25
Canada ♥️
Good job
We teach an Ag Drone School where I have a "101 Uses for Drones on the Farm" presentation. May I use this video in that? Been telling people about this use, but your video makes it very clear.
sure
My dad works for degelman!
that's pretty darn cool!
And I’ll bet it’s cheap as dirt?😂
Considering a guy practically needs to sell a kidney to afford some land, yes. Cheap as dirt 😂
@@windmillfarms2845 Isn’t that the truth! A guy who owns 320 acres a mile away from my farm was offered 6000 cad / acre for his land. - He turned it down!

80 feet and no wagon steer on the drill? Nice
The air cart tired do steer
Looks great, can you fly spraying drones like t40 in canada?
I have no license (my drone is under 250grams) but I’m confident it would be similar.
I wonder what's the reason behind the V shaped frame? Is it just to even out the weight between all 3 axles?
Maybe? Or weight distribution when in transport? Not sure
I have this in farming simulator 19😮
Nice
Serious question: why is the seedtank not infront if the seeder? Aren’t the wheels creating patches of lower revenue?
it makes the toolbar more visible and makes turns simpler in the field
Compaction with the big tires is pretty minimal but does exist Haven’t seen a yield response to getting a tow behind instead of tow between tank tho
Why do people only always mention the horsepower of tractors and never the torque which is arguably more important?
I’m no expert but I’d guess because they don’t stamp the torque specs of a tractor on the hood panels
Always surprised how heavy a 'rolling' coulter pulls
Quite a contraption. ❤😊
Thanks
Well no shit it Handel's it with no midrows down try putting them down it'll stall
Lol
That looks fun to operate
Thanks
Nor cleor
Thanks
And if you hit him, your insurance does not have enough in the limit
Might take a train to cause an impact large enough to write the whole rig off though
What's the torque of that monster?
Not even sure 😂
Nice machine 😊
Thanks
Nice setup, brother! Good looking, iron 💪
Thanks 👍
Ha ha very funny! 😂 I used to work at the dealership where your hat came from.
Small world eh!
@@windmillfarms2845 Sure is!
Looks like a nice bale picker! Which part of Manitoba are you from as I am from South Central Manitoba as well.
Thanks West of Morden/carman
@@windmillfarms2845 Oh right on! Are You getting all this rain as well?
Honestly don't understand why you windrow wheat. Is it not better to harvest it straight with a combiner and get it off the land? Why windrow and then harvest? Surely, doing it in two passes will give more waste and more expense? I've always harvested it with a combiner in one go.
90% of the time we straight cut our wheat but had early contracts to fill. Not as efficient but really speeds up the dry down of the crop
OK thanks for explanation
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Yep def a bit of overkill with that set up 😂 But you make do with what you have 😋
Haha agreed! Do what you gotta do
Oh and a Big hello from Winnipeg 🤗
Finally , A canadian farmer on RUclips running Versatile 🥰
Welcome aboard!
Them beans can get tough .. worse when there are green stems..
Definitely! I sure do like growing them though
@windmillfarms2845 been growing soybeans for 40 years . Has them Williams soybean tall thick stems the peas were good size. Their bred up considerable now . That Stine in Iowa is a genius soybean breeder . His lines are in most the varieties now .
Whereabouts in The Bastard child of Alberta and Ottawa are ye? I'm near Winkler.
25-30 minutes west of you
10" spacing, that makes sense why you are travelling slow!! More spacing should allow faster speed
I know the guys running discs can cruise and do a good job aswell
Good option to have in lodged crops.
Agreed, it’s a nice tool to have to manage harvest
Now show a green paint scheme with bourgault and add another 300k..😂
That green paint will get you 😂
I guess u need deerestar……….0 gps issues all spring with 4 units? Lol
Some neighbours that run Deere I talked to also had GPS issues during the solar storm 🤷🏼♂️
Simpler tractors no gps keeps you guys going while the rest cant do anything without technology. When its down they twiddle their thumbs .
lol I did notice ground drive metering planters with mechanical row marker disks jumped up in value big time over the weekend
@@windmillfarms2845 lol
@@windmillfarms2845very interesting, I’m down in Iowa and we didn’t have any issues here due to the solar storm
It looks like you guys spend days washing and polishing that seeder just for this video!!
Lmao! We like to use mother natures pressure washer
Nice equipment
Thanks 👍
Great video
Thanks!
Thought this was Shoresy talking for a second 😂
Lol
Sweet rig !! What size are the rubber on the versatile looks good!
Thanks Pretty sure they’re 900s
1.3 million easy
🤮 equipment prices are crazy
Awesome on-top of awesome..😎🌾👍
Thanks 👍
Arent you concerned about cornloss when u first cut it and then lay it on the ground?
Im sorry but im not sure what is meant by corn loss
He means what percentage of your crop do you lose because it gets threashed prematurely by the swather.
Thank you for the traditional drydown, not the Roundup burn down method.
Glad you liked it!
So glad that they banned that method years ago over here.
I am surprised he isn't pulling the 84 foot bourgault seeder...
lol so am I
That's what she said
40 foot boring go 50 foot boys
lol need longer augers then
@@windmillfarms2845 lol true good point.. Just joking around
