How lucky you are to have such talented help!
Oh my. This is beautiful!!! More so is that your Father in law built it for you!!! You are very lucky.
Que hermoso paisaje se ve por la ventana quisiera estar ahi
This is beautiful!
Pure envy. Love that you can extend the table.
Maybe I missed it but how wide is your binding? Standard 2 1/2”?
I came to ask the same question???
How do you change bobbin if it’s a front loader? And what if cables attach too low at side? Any ideas?
What a loving father in law. So lucky. His son must take after him too😊
Lucky daughter in law!
How do you access your on off switch?
Do you sell your patterns?
HI! I do sell them on my Etsy shop. HomewithAndreaSims
I love the look of your sewing room and sewing table! When I see tables with cutouts like this I have to ask, what happens if you get a different sewing machine that isn't the same size though? Yes, you can cut a larger hole but what happens if you want to use a smaller machine?
❤Great video I've been looking at alternative ideas to buying the extremely expentive sewing tables online and creating the flush top sewing area. This video is the perfect solution. One question. What is the knee lift used for? Thanks for the best idea ever. Your sewing table turned out beautifully.
Love your room! Wondering what color you stained your sewing table top and cutting table, please?
Fantastic table! I may have my husband make one for me 🤔 btw, I have a box almost identical to yours 😊
Great job 👏. You’ve given me lots of ideas as this is a project I’m keen to complete. thank you for sharing 🙏
That is amazing!
Did you prewash your flannel?
love this
Amazing
what are the dimensions on your table? Joel in Florida
I’ve watched less than one minute of your video and I already have to comment about the brilliance of your batting roll storage! Love it!
Love your sewing room. So many great ideas. You are blessed to have the help of your father in law. I’m sure that made him feel good to be able to be needed. 🙏🏻
Do you polish your quilt hoop and stand?
That cutting table is beautiful, but for me I would not put fat quarters in the drawers for me I would be putting cutting notions and rulers and other things other than fabric. But that how I would utilize it. Beautiful room thought.
Thank you for some awesome new ideas. Love the antique accents.❤
I absolutely love you sewing table it is beautiful.
Thank you for your video Andrea. Your father in law does beautiful work. After watching your video it inspired me to do the same with a small drop leaf Sauder sewing table. Granted, it is nothing like yours but it’ll do the job. I have a very small sewing/office room.
Congratulations for your idea and To your Father in law. Thank you so much sharing with us.
Thank you for sharing your sewing room. Great ideas.
You are so welcome!
What are the dimensions on your sewing table? Without the leaf?
40x60 approximately. I cant remember exactly.
Looks great! We are just starting to look for a used table to do this with. Just wondering how you use the free arm though.
Hello, sorry for the delay! I almost never use it so it has not been a problem. But I can remove the sewing machine to use it.
@homewithandreasims4335 Thanks. We found a great table to do this with and my hubby finished it today! I can't wait to use it.
Love your room especially the batting system.
Thanks so much!
Excellent!!!!!! I may have to change my mind again about my sewing table. I need something that will not shake and vibrate when my machine is running. I'm excited again, and it wont be as expensive as I originally thought.
You can totally do this! I found having the knee lifter adds even more stability and limits vibrations as well.
Looks great BUT how do you use your free arm??
Hi Sorry for the delay! I usually dont use it since I just quilt. But I can remove the sewing machine if I ever needed it.
Nice job! I'm looking at this to get ideas how to make something similar for my wife. Kudos to your father-in-law!
Go for it!
What is the name of this minky?
Cuddle Luxe by Shannone Fabrics. Sorry for the delayed response.
You have a great father-in-law!!! Does he rent out?
haha!
Love your sewing room
Thank you!
This is soooooo beautiful!!!!
Thanks so much!!
Your tutorial is the clearest video on binding I have ever watched! Thank you 😊!
Awww thanks so much. That is so kind. Sorry for the delayed response.
I just love this sewing room I hope you don't mind if I kind of copy it you'll never see me on RUclips or see that room but yeah I want this room I just think it's beautiful I like all those warm colors and I like it because it's so neat I don't like to see a lot of things out this is great thank you so much for sharing🤗🤗🤗PS YOU HAVE GREAT TASTE 👍
Hi Nancy! I am so sorry for the delayed response. I had baby number five and its been so busy. I do not mind at all. It sounds like you think like me. I have an updated sewing room tour on here from our new home in Indiana. I actually ahve added some fun things so I need to do another tour!
@@homewithandreasims4335 🤗🤗👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love your videos! Did you ever do a video for quilting with minky?
Hello! I cant recall. But I am in the process of quilting with Minky so I want to start filming again. I am sorry for the delayed response. I had baby number five and its been busy!
Very Clever, your Grandpa did a great job. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! Sorry for the delayed response. Baby number five came and its been busy
Love your new sewing space. It is beautiful and organized. Thank you for sharing and the ideas of the way you utilized your space.
Thank you so much Jenny!
Yeaaaa this worked for me. Your tutorial is the best I’ve seen for this method. Thank you
Thanks so much Michelle!
What size screws did you use. I love your design wall.
Hi Betty! I am so sorry for the delayed response. I had baby number five in August and sort of just stopped filming. I used 2" screws to attach to the wall.
you re looking wonderful.💕 god bless you for the birth.🙏
Thank you so much!
Audio is low, but great video.
Yes, sorry about that! It was when I was still figuring out how to film in our larger lower level. Thanks!
What if you don't have enough backing fabric to fold it and sew?
This is the "normal process" for how to make backings-with only one seam or one whole wide backing. You can certainly piece backings though and I have known many quilters who essentially make a backing from larger scraps. It is totally fine!
The fabric is a great choice for the pattern. Looks so Nice and Bright!
I think so too!
