Helluva Boss "The Full Moon" Storyboards - IMP vs CHERUB Fight
The second part of my storyboards for Season 2 Episode 8 of Helluva Boss.
This is the first time I've gotten to board a fight scene for the show, and I had a lot of freedom with choreographing it. I wanted to highlight the character development both the Cherubs and IMP gang have gone through, and how they've essentially switched roles here: the Cherubs are trying to end a life, while IMP are trying to save one of their own.
Despite being violent assassins, IMP only take down the Cherubs through acts of saving one another, all while protecting their boss.
Overall, I boarded this fight as a visual representation of how much IMP care for each other and Blitz. It's strong enough to topple buildi...

It’s interesting to see how some of the scenes are slightly extended in the storyboard, which may or may not have been needed for pacing. Plus, Stolas seems more nervous and uncomfortable near the end, which makes more sense considering they’re looking for her daughter and are now being screwed over by humans mistaking Blitz for Brennon. Also, anyone know the context to 8:30, if this was originally meant to be a Hollywood reference?

The thing i don't like about this short film is that, there's no music of any type. It's just a musicless short. That makes it kinda empty if you ask me...
While music might sound nice in this short, I honestly believe that it wouldn't have been necessary. By leaving out the music, one could pay better attention to the story they wanted to tell or the experience they wanted to show. Besides, there are a few parts in the short where I couldn't even imagine music for or even if I did, it would ruin the moment.
I liked it, is this going to become a series?
