Yeah you can divebomb there, really hard to do and you gotta have a lot of practice at it. My GoPro sadly died At the start of the race so I couldn’t get footage.

Ended up qualifying 4th, and finished 3rd to clarify. Had a decent start but this one kid just doesn’t know how to drive and spun me out twice

@@BDR_Memphis yea some of those guys were driving weird I got hit hard twice in qualifying and then I got squeezed into the barrier into T1 in the race couldve gotten 3rd if I just tried to pass somewhere else

It really depends on the kart and how it reacts. You kinda have to just figure it out depending on the kart and try different strategies for it.

On the old karts we would hit the rear end on the wall, but these ones I do have to trail brake into T1 to not lose time.

Nah I don’t get paid, just a really damn expensive hobby lol. There is Pro-Karting if you want to say, Karting is how most Hi-level Racers get to where they are.

No, anyone is able to race, but if you want to compete and be able to be in the top 5, we run usually 21-23 second lap times.

Not really, just stay as close to the outside wall. With our old karts we could actually gain time by swinging the back end of the kart out and hitting the wall but not anymore.

Yeah, we warm the hell outta our tires and scrub them before the races lol. Also yeah we got our Superleggero Karts a few months before Accelerate got bought out by K1.

@@BDR_Memphisdo the wheels have paddle shifters for like decor or something? I can't seem to tell what those paddle shifter looking things are on the back of the wheel.

Yeah they are paddle shifters, before K1 bought out our old place we used them for our leagues. But being the corporate company they are we don’t use them anymore.

21.1 is pretty good! Fastest lap I set during practice was a 20.6 so not bad at all. I use a GoPro Hero 9 for all of my recording.

For this lap, I have the lap record and it is a 20.4 something if I can remember correctly.

@@BDR_Memphis Wow, my first time racing there my best lap was a 23.5 in 3 games, you have any tips on how to be faster? I'm planning on coming here for the Adult GP on May 5th, but I'll be going any of the Tuesday because of the buy one get one free.

23.5 is still very solid. I’ve been racing here since mid 2017 so I have quite a while of experience. It’s all about finding the best lines and fine tuning them. I’ll be at the next Teen GP so if you see me, feel free to say hi and I’d be happy to give you some pointers.

Yeah they do grid starts now. T1 depends on where you start, if your like me and are absolutely running for positions, I’ll brake as late as possible and try to divebomb cleanly. If not I’ll hold back and play it safe. Sometimes it’s better to just stay back and let everyone else battle first. Other times not. It really depends.

Yeah I agree. It’s hard because it’s such a small track and I take a risk of losing another 2 laps to just pass them, along with having about 13 people in one session makes us hard. I’ll keep it in mind next time though, thanks!
