I was taken to Church Street Methodist, Basingstoke, as a boy and began preaching in the Circuit in 1965 (I now preach mainly in the Wrexham Circuit). Have any houses flooded ?

I live in the flats across the road from Christchurch Meadows and have seen it flooded twice this year so far. It flooded a few years back when the Thames burst it's banks and there were people out there in kayaks, paddling about. I really hope those people nearer the river are ok and also hope that the water levels drop soon.

We've been out and about in Reading seeing the flood levels at first hand.
