Iam the Midwestern Viking wishing to bring you Entertainment, Education and much more examples such as (Airsoft gun/kit BD and reviews along with events, Military arms/kit BD and reviews along with History & knowledge, Living history events, Gameing, Music and much much more as i develop, i am open to suggestions and feed back as you are part of the community. as a civil war reenacter, this is so much like our battles...standing around, waiting to go in...hearing the distant fire, getting closer. The only thing u can see on the other side is thier colors...when we chose to carry the colors, we were always expected to die off in the battle relatively quickly. The best part is whe the calvery gallops over u when u are lying dead in the battle field...they run right over u...the horses know to avoid stepping on u.
I Always Wanted To Get Involved In Civil War Reenacting, I Go To The 1st Nebraska's Events Every Year In Nebraska City When They Are Doing Their Events In Late August, Early September Just Cost Is Whats Holding Me Back, I Do Norse Living History At Our Local Ren Fair Or Like Norwegian/Danish/Swedish Heritage Day. @@TheMidwesternViking I was in a unit (second Virginia Infantry)....were were all from Wisc. ..but someone had to be on the Southern side. The hobby used to be huge...for some reason, it has wained...but it is worth it, u learn so much and live the way they used to for a weekend...wear the same clothes, etc.
