I Scratch Built a 1/6 Scale Optimus Prime Freightliner Cabover RC in 80 Days
I scratch built a world's first and the only 1/6 Scale Optimus Prime Freightliner Cabover RC in 80 Days through 5mm ABS boards to perfectly match 1/6 scale action figures from GI JOE Cobra Commander to all other kinds.
Cab width: 420mm
Truck length: 1050mm
Tire diameter: 175mm
Weight: 32KG
Mounted on SCX6 Vitavon 6x6 portals chassis.
GX 120KG steering servo.
CNC bumper, steps, grille, nose grille, toplight, horn, steering wheel.
Smoke stacks in 304 stainless steel.
Seats and door latches in 304 stainless steel.
3D print toplight shades.
Cab width: 420mm

OK, that slow motion filming is magnafique. It adds so much to the realism. Gotta be careful about the fast motion when filming scale models. But I know, sometimes you just gotta push the throttle! 😂

You should consider doing God Ginrai from Masterforce sometime. 1976-1984.5 Freightliner FLL8642T setback front axle flattop sleeper Tiltline cabover LWB Super-Single-Drive axle B-tandem rig, with 2 trailers. I can't even fathom a working Star Convoy from Battlestars--Return of Convoy. Way too big and ungainly. Like a conventional pulling a gas station with an attached burger joint.
