@KohreeRV but what if you leave your main home breaker ON. Then, turn ON your 50amp breaker as well (with no generator cable plugged into it), will the green light turn on? I'm asking because that's the scenario I'm seeing at my house. I just had mine done by an electrician and I'm inspecting it all and I noticed the green light is on when I turn ON the 50amp breaker. No cable plugged into it. No generator even on as to not backfeed.

​@@KohreeRVI ended up permanently connecting the indoor portion but used the quick connector outside. Then I just have to pile the line up when not using the heater. I might add another quick connector inside at a later date, would make for nicer storage when not in use.
